Why am I not receiving my verification code?
Verification codes are sent to the phone number(s) on your account.
- Cell phones receive the code by SMS text message.
- Landlines receive the code by automated voice call.
If you are not receiving your code, review the questions below.
Is the phone number on my account correct?
An incorrect or outdated phone number is the most common reason codes are not received. If your number has changed, contact us to update it at Customer Support.
Is your phone blocking the message?
Some devices or carriers may block automated text messages or calls as spam. Check your spam or blocked message settings and try requesting a new code.
Does your phone use call screening or an automated answering service?
Features such as call screening, spam call filtering, or automated answering services may prevent you from receiving voice verification calls.
- You may want to add our number to your Contact List to ensure it will not get caught in your Spam Filtering.
- If your phone is a landline and uses an answering service, you may provide an alternate number for the code to be sent to.
Is your mobile device able to receive text messages?
If you're using a cell phone, confirm that:
- You have cellular service.
- SMS messaging is working.
- Your inbox is not full.
Have you requested multiple codes?
If you've requested several codes in a short period, use the most recent code. Earlier codes become invalid.
Did the code expire?
Verification codes expire after a short time. If your code has expired, request a new one.
Important notes for the best 2FA experience:
- Please be patient as authentication text or call may take up to 5 minutes to appear/be received
- Clicking "Request another code" generates a new code and invalidates the previously sent code which may further delay authentication until the new code is received
- Each code is valid for 20 minutes
- Accounts will be locked-out after 3 consecutive unsuccessful attempts
