When you place a bid or complete a purchase on GunBroker.com, you are entering into a binding agreement with the seller to complete the transaction. A purchase cannot normally be canceled simply because you changed your mind, placed a bid by mistake, or no longer want the item.
If You Are Unable to Complete the Purchase
If you are unable to complete a purchase, contact the seller directly as soon as possible and explain the situation.
The seller is not required to agree to the cancellation. If the seller agrees, they must follow the applicable credit request process to request credit for eligible GunBroker fees associated with the transaction.
GunBroker Customer Support cannot cancel a completed purchase on a buyer's behalf simply because the buyer no longer wishes to complete the transaction.
When the Seller Cannot Complete the Transaction
A transaction may need to be canceled when the seller is unable to provide the item, including situations where:
- The item is no longer available.
- The item was damaged or its condition changed before shipment.
- The item was stolen or confiscated before shipment.
If the seller cannot complete the transaction for one of these reasons, contact the seller regarding the cancellation.
If you are unable to resolve the issue with the seller, contact GunBroker Customer Support and provide the item or order number and a description of the issue.
Leaving Feedback
If a transaction is not completed, you may also leave appropriate feedback regarding your experience with the seller.
To leave feedback:
- Go to My GunBroker > Buying > Won Items.
- Locate the transaction.
- Select More Options > Leave Feedback.
For additional information, see Leaving Feedback.
Before You Bid or Buy
Review the entire listing, including the item description, price, shipping charges, payment methods, seller terms, and any other conditions of sale before placing a bid or completing a purchase.
Only bid or purchase an item if you are prepared to complete the transaction.
