There are several reasons you may be unable to access your GunBroker account. Review the information below for the notice message you are receiving and follow the instructions provided.
When contacting Customer Support, please provide any information or documentation requested that is mentioned in the notice message you are receiving. This may include identification, updated contact information, or other details noted below. Providing the requested information when contacting us can help us review your account and respond more efficiently.
If you cannot access your account because you are unable to receive the Two Factor Authorization (2FA) code due to an incorrect phone number listed on your account, please submit a ticket to Customer Support and provide your new number and the phone type, mobile or landline.
Response times may vary depending on the volume of requests received by the Support Team. During periods of higher request volume, responses may take longer than usual. Please be assured that the Support Team will review your request and respond as soon as possible in the order requests are received.
Review the information below for the message or account status you are receiving and follow the instructions provided.
Unable to Verify Your Information
GunBroker requires complete and accurate account information. During registration, we may use a third-party service to verify certain information. If your information cannot be verified, additional documentation may be required to verify your name and address.
Follow the instructions provided in the notice displayed when you attempt to access your account and contact Customer Support with the requested information.
You will not be able to update your account information while the account is locked.
Account Locked
If you see a notice stating "Your account is locked. Please contact customer support to have your account reviewed.", this means your account is in a locked status and cannot be accessed. An account may be placed under review for several reasons, including:
- Another account already exists on the site (Duplicate account)
- Too many failed attempts to submit a 2FA code
- Account profile information was updated and manual verification is required
- A Non Paying Buyer claim was canceled and manual review is required
- An increased number of negative feedback postings on your account
If your account is under review, contact Customer Support for assistance.
Account Closed
If you see a notice stating "Your account has been locked and is in a closed status." This can occur for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to:
- Account closed due to inactivity
- An unpaid account balance
- Unresolved account or transaction issues
- Violations of the User Agreement or site policies
You will not be able to update your account information while the account is closed.
Account Closed by You
If you previously requested that your account be closed, you may be provided with an option to reactivate it.
If a reactivation option is available, follow the instructions displayed. If you cannot reactivate the account, contact Customer Support for assistance.
Non-Paying Bidder/Buyer Suspension
An account may be suspended when one or more transactions were not completed and Non Paying Buyer claims were filed by the seller.
If your account has been suspended for this reason, contact Customer Support for information about the suspension and whether the account is eligible for review or reactivation.
Past Due Account
If your account has a past-due balance, the message displayed will provide a Make a Payment option.
If this option is available, follow the instructions provided to bring the account balance to $0.00.
After the balance has been paid, the account may return to its previous status. If the account remains unavailable after the balance has been paid, contact Customer Support for assistance.
Duplicate Account
An account may be restricted if another account is associated with the same user or registration information.
If you receive a message concerning a duplicate account, contact Customer Support for assistance.
Do not attempt to create another account.
Terminated Account
An account may be terminated for violations of site policies, transaction-related issues, or other account activity.
If you believe your account was terminated in error or would like the decision reviewed, follow the instructions for How to Appeal a Terminated Account.
Foreign User or Location Restriction
Account access may be restricted based on the location information associated with the account or the location from which the site is being accessed.
If you believe your account has been incorrectly restricted based on your location, contact Customer Support for assistance.
GDPR / European Union Restrictions
GunBroker services may not be available to users located in certain countries or regions because of applicable regulatory requirements.

If you cannot access your account and the information above does not resolve the issue, contact Customer Support for assistance.
When requesting assistance, provide:
- Your username, if known
- The email address associated with the account
- A brief description of what happens when you attempt to sign in
- The wording of any message displayed, if available
