Overview
When GunTab is enabled for a listing, the seller must have a GunTab email address saved on their account. This email is required for listings that use GunTab as a payment option.
If a seller attempts to create or relist an item with GunTab enabled without having their GunTab email saved, the listing will fail and an error message will appear with a link to add GunTab credentials.
This requirement also applies to relisting items. Listings configured with GunTab will not successfully relist unless valid GunTab credentials are already saved on the account.
Adding GunTab Credentials
Sellers can add their GunTab email address through the Toolbox.
Steps to Add a GunTab Email
- Go to Toolbox.
- Select Checkout Setup.
- Locate GunTab in the available payment options.
- Click GunTab.
The user will then be directed to a screen where they can enter their GunTab email address.
GunTab Email Verification
When a seller enters their GunTab email address, the system will verify the email with GunTab to confirm that the account:
- Exists
- Is active
- Is in good standing
If Verification Fails
If the GunTab account does not pass verification, the seller will see an error message indicating that the account is not active.
If Verification Succeeds
If the account passes validation, the seller will receive a success message confirming the email has been saved.
Managing GunTab Credentials
GunTab does not have an enable or disable toggle.
- If the email address is saved, GunTab can be used for listings.
- If the email address is deleted, GunTab will no longer be available as a payment option for that seller.
Shipping Requirements for GunTab
GunTab cannot be used with Buyer Pays Actual Shipping.
To use GunTab, sellers must choose one of the following shipping options:
- Fixed Price Shipping (Shipping estimators can be used to approximate cost.)
- Free Shipping
Listings configured with Buyer Pays Actual Shipping will not be eligible to use GunTab.
