Notification of items sold:
Sold items display in My GunBroker>Selling>Sold.
When you sell an item, we send an email at the end of the listing. The email includes the buyer's user name and email address along with the sale amount.
Contacting the buyer:
From the time the listing ends, you have up to five days to contact the buyer. You may use the email address in the notification we sent you. Or, you can contact the buyer online:
- Navigate My GunBroker>Selling>Sold.
- Click the item you sold.
- Click View Contact Info. The buyer's contact information displays.
- Click Send Message.
The buyer must contact you within the same five days.
Sending payment instructions:
You should send the buyer clear payment instructions. Always include:
- Your name
- Phone number
- The item number of the listing
- The name of our site (GunBroker.com)
- Your email address
Clearly state what forms of payment (for example, check, money order, credit card) you accept.
If the item was a firearm, remind the buyer that he must send or fax you a copy of his transfer dealer's FFL license.
If you require proof of age, request that information as well.
After you receive payment:
You can ship the item once you receive payment. Please refer to Firearms Shipping Guide for instructions on ways to ship firearms, ammunition, and other special items.
If you did not get email notification:
If you sold an item and did not get a notification from GunBroker.com, you may have a different email address than the one we have on file, or we may be unable to send you a notification due to technical problems with your email provider. We encourage all of our sellers to check Items I've Sold on My Selling page.
