Paying for the Item You Purchased or Won

Using Immediate Checkout:

Items which are eligible for Immediate Checkout are displayed with the dollar sign icon. Buyers can use this option to submit payment securely using the GunBroker Checkout system as soon as the listing has ended. Buyers can submit payment information, shipping information, and/or specify an FFL using GunBroker Checkout.

You can access GunBroker Checkout in one of the following ways:

1. In Welcome> Buying> You Won!, click Select, and then Proceed to Checkout from the Select Menu.
2. In the View Item Page, click the Checkout link in the box above “This Item has been Sold” message.
3. In the “You Purchased an Item” email notification the buyer receives, select the “Proceed to Checkout” link.

The seller determines whether Immediate Checkout is active or not on an item. For more information, see How to Use Immediate Checkout.  

Using Standard Checkout:

Buyers can submit payment information, shipping information, and/or specify an FFL using GunBroker Checkout.  The seller can provide shipping costs and any other costs associated with the transaction and provide shipping information and a tracking number once the item ships.

You can access GunBroker Checkout in one of the following ways:

1. In Welcome> Buying> You Won!, click Select, and then Proceed to Checkout from the Select Menu.
2. In the View Item Page, click the Checkout link in the box above “This Item has been Sold” message.
3. In the “You Purchased an Item” email notification the buyer receives, select the “Proceed to Checkout” link.

The seller has five days to provide you with shipping costs once you start the checkout process.

If you are sending payment to the seller, always include:

• Your name
• Your address
• Your phone number
• The item number of the auction you won
• The name of our site (GunBroker.com)
• Your email address and/or fax number
• If the item is a firearm, a copy of your transfer dealer's FFL license

You may need to send proof of age for some purchases.

Note: It is important to follow the seller's payment instructions carefully to avoid problems with the transaction.
