Before you place a bid, review the details of the item you wish to purchase, including the seller's Feedback Ratings, the item description, payment and shipping terms. If you still have questions, click Ask Seller a Question on the item listing page. See Before You Buy.
Please remember, by placing a bid you are placing a legally binding offer to purchase the item at any price up through your Maximum Bid amount. If the seller accepts your bid, you are legally obligated to complete the transaction.
You cannot lower your bid once it has been entered. Entering a lower Maximum Bid does not change or remove your prior Maximum Bid. Also, once a bid is placed it cannot be retracted, see Retracting a Bid
To purchase an item in an auction:
- Select your item.
- Enter your maximum bid amount, then click Bid.
- Review the details of your bid on the Confirm Bid page, then click Submit Bid.
- Review auction results.
AutoBid:
Your maximum bid cannot be seen by other bidders. AutoBid automatically bids on your behalf, up to your maximum amount, using preset bid increments as other bidders increase their bids.
Reserve Price:
Some sellers set a Reserve Price for the item. This price is the lowest amount the seller will accept for the item. Bidders cannot see the Reserve Price. If there is a Reserve Price, the words "Reserve Not Met" or "Reserve Met" will appear beneath the Enter Amount box to let you know whether your bid has met the Reserve Price.
Final call and the 15 Minute Rule:
There is a 15 minute final call time to prevent sniping and offer all users the opportunity to bid.
