Sellers can list an item with a Starting Bid and no Reserve Price. When no Reserve Price is set, the auction will display “No Reserve.”
Starting Bid
The Starting Bid is the lowest amount the seller is willing to accept for the item. It is also the minimum amount a bidder can enter when placing the first bid on the auction.
The Starting Bid is displayed on the auction listing.
Minimum Bid
Once bidding has started, the Minimum Bid is the lowest amount a bidder can enter to become the current high bidder.
The Minimum Bid is determined by adding the applicable bid increment to the current bid price. As the current bid price increases, the Minimum Bid may also increase based on the predetermined bid increment.
