Notification of winning bid:
You can check the You Won! section of My Buying to see if you won an auction.
This menu is also available through My GunBroker > Buy > Won Items.
Once you win an auction, you'll receive an email soon after it ends containing the seller's user name and email address along with your winning bid amount.
Contacting the seller:
From the time the auction closes, you have a maximum of five days to contact the seller. You can use the email address in the notification we sent you. Or, you can contact the seller online:
- Navigate Welcome>My Buying>You Won!
- Select from More Options drop down menu next to item you won.
- Click View Seller Contact Info.
- Click Send Message.
Making payment:
Within the same five days, the seller should send instructions on making payment. Sellers list their accepted payment methods in the listing and may use our integrated Checkout feature.
It is important to follow the seller's payment instructions carefully to avoid problems with the transaction.
For more information, see Paying for the Item You Purchased or Won.
If you did not get email notification:
If you won an auction and did not get a notification, you may have a different email address than the one we have on file, or we may be unable to send you an email notification due to technical problems with your email service provider. We encourage all buyers to check My GunBroker > Buy > Won Items regularly.
