A Second Amendment sales tax holiday is a temporary period when specific states waive sales tax on firearms, ammunition, and outdoor sporting gear. States like Mississippi and Louisiana hold designated tax-free weekends for these items in late summer or early fall, while Florida implements an extended multi-month outdoor and sporting tax holiday.
