Agreed. I have evacuated from my home Sept 11th. I’m not returning until next week. I have a bidder on auction ending in two hours. I’m just going to let my winning bidder know with a courtesy email with instructions to delay the payment for my item.
Pray for us, guys! We were already at record rainfall for the year prior to this in many areas. The entire state is in the middle of pure catastrophe. I have never seen this much rain for this long.
Sunday am just outside Charlotte heavy rain and strong winds. This is a big a-- storm. won one yesterday may be a few days getting to the post office to send payment!!!!!!
Gun Broker you have gone above and beyond the call of duty. You have done a great service to all of us customers and others. Again, thank you for your coverage of Florence. It is a bit less stressfull being informed, thank you, and thanks a ton.
Though I think Gunbroker's comment was obvious to be patient with dealings with those in the Carolina's, I'm thankful for the person I've been doing a transaction with's communication and calmness. Fortunately where he is from seems to be only in the 5 to 7" rain totals it still has to be very tough dealing with wind rain and downed trees. Thank you for even communicating in such hectic times, Larry Trimble
Having gone through two hurricanes in back to back years (Matthew, '16 and Irma, '17) my thoughts and prayers are with those who have suffered and are suffering with the aftermath of Florence. And yes, buyers and sellers alike should be patient during this time period and those affected as, more importantly, they get back on their feet.

I was right in the middle of Flo, but I was far from the worst hurt. Right across the river from me in New Bern whole subdivisions are wiped out, hell yesterday a guy came over and picked up his rocking chair that was in my back yard. It used to be in his living room, and he lives across the river. I'm buying a handgun off a gentlemen up north now, I had to email him last week that the check was going to be late do to the fact I had to dig out of this place. God bless you all. Luke
With permission of our administration, I would like to post a quick prayer... my apologies if it offends any of our friends out there, and if it does, you're no friend of mine.
"Dear Lord, please keep our friends, families and especially our first responders and all workers who are helping before & after the storm and wrath that follows. To all those who have lost family, friends, family pets and anyone else they care about, we send you this prayer and all the other ways we can and are helping to ease your pain." Amen.
I was at the Parrlis Island S.C. training depot from July 59 until the end of Nov when a hurricane , dont know the name, hit Beaufort and the water was worse than the storm damage. I happed to be in the 3rd Batt. in the old Quonset huts. The Hats had us put our foot lockers on the top racks and take all our necessities in in duffle bags and move over to 2nd.batt. which had two story buildings and moved us to the top floor. 2 weeks on C-rats and still had to put our stuff on top racks.
When the water receded, we went back home to 3rd. batt. and cleaned up our mess. We were issued all new gear including new lockers. After getting squared away, we were assigned to cleanup for 3 weeks in and around Beaufort. It set us back for gradation but I was inspired by the courage of the people of S.C. We will forever be thankful for those people for allowing us help. Carolina Strong. - Semper Fi
