Everything you want in shooting, reloading, etc. I practically grew up there. Not in this new shop, but in the old one. [:)][:)] Original family owned.

Here is my favorite, and I wished I still had it going. I had to close shop due to my health. Good news is, I still have my FFL.

The Gun Room, 101 West 4th Ave., Anchorage, AK - Lots of antiques - Winchester lever actions and old Colts make up a significant part part of the fascinating inventory.

Not a "true" gun store, but he does carry a few guns in the store and will order in anything you want. Do most of my looking other places and almost all of my ordering from him(Larry). Gives me the best prices and it's always nice when you go buy a gun, shells and accessories for it, and other things(feed, tools, etc.) in the same store. Plus he is just one heck of a nice guy.

There are two shops here in Hunt County Texas I would visit: Blackland Outdoor Sports on FM 1566 just off SH 34 north of Greenville, and The Ammo Depot on FM 36 just off Interstate 30 west of Greenville.

D-Ray's Sporting Goods in Dallas (Singleton blvd.) the used gun section is the best I've seen, particularly the handguns.

Big Bear Arms, Carrolton, Tx (suburb of Dallas) not very big, not much stock, but the guy who owns the place (scott) is a genuine russian arms dealer, he can get you whatever you want. (a russian... named scott??) very cool old man. there was a S.H.O.T. show in Dallas, he hosted Mikhail Kalashnikov. flew him over and had him stay with him. showed me pictures of that. plus, his gunsmith is from eastern europe, who knows what he's doing if you need work on those kinds of guns.

there's some store called The Armory (I think) over by Mesquite, by that big Eiffel Tower looking thing, it's real small, not much in the way of guns, but they're stocked with ammo, whatever you want they got it. it's just a fun place to go.

    those are my 3 favorites.

I don't know if it is still in operation, but Shuman's Gun Shop in Newville, PA. Back in the 70's I bought many nice prewar Winchester Lever Actions there.

Also, there is Clark Bros. Guns in Warrenton, VA. Back in the late 70's they had an extraordinary prewar Winchester Lever Action collection on the walls surrounding the interior of the shop.

Currently, it would be the Gun Library in the Cabela's at Austin (Buda), Texas.
