Not just a no; but a HELL NO. My Brittey was a stray. we kept her to be a part of the family. Thats where she will stay. She is worth more then her weight in gold. But I have 2 cats that you can have. So far the coyotes won't take them.

    Everything is for sale...

I have heard this old saw most of my life and have upon reflection concluded the following: Either it is a vacuous expression meant only to convey a cavalier sentiment for effect (not unlike "A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle"), or it is an actual confession of utter despair and want of meaning on the part of the person saying it. And in either case it totally sucks.

DWS should know that not everything is for sale.

Seeing as how he hasn't been able to GIVE his lovin' away for years, forget about selling it.

Sad but true, and wholly in contrast to you, whose second income earnings on your knees in Denny's men's rooms is legend.

, sometimes the confessor, sometimes the listener.

As a prostitute consultant henchman this old saw should be painfully obvious.

Would that be a prostitute-consultant henchman, a prostitute consultant-henchman or a prostitute, consultant henchman? And which old saw are you referring to: The truth hurts . . . or Everything is for for sale?

Nit picky I know, but I'm curious.

    Clouder..

I was thinking of the old saw, "Clouder is a homo."

Your curiosity has served you well.

What can I say? The womenfolk prefer the ambiance of the men's room. Don't you worry though, there's still plenty of nostalgic old truckers coming around asking if your cornhole is still for rent.

Just because they were wearing dresses doesn't mean they were men, Alice (you of all people should know that).

BTW, I saw you gargling "It's Raining Men" on YouTube. How on earth did you get hold of Michael Vick's motility specimen for that?

    Absolutely.
Unimaginable as it may seem to the "my dog is family" crowd, my dog is not "family."
I like my dog, he's a good dog, but I seldom confuse the two.
Friend of mine last week tried to adopt a dog from one of those private rescue agencies, and they turned her down, as she failed their questionaire. Aparently, one of the questions was something to the effect of, "If your family were in dire financial straits to the point where you were having difficulty meeting your family's basic needs, would you consider giving you dog away?" and she responded, "Yes, I would give him to a responsible person who could care for him properly."
WRONG ANSWER!!!! She was informed that the correct answer should have been something to the effect of, "NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT! I would choose to compromise my human family's access to their needs."
Sorry, I find this attitude as disturbing as I do befuddling....

If your dog was barking at the back door and your wife was yelling at the front door, which would you let in first?

The dog of course-at least you know he'll shut up once he's in!!

    That's right!

I've actually sold some before. Heck, for the right price, I'll throw in a new collar and a bag of dog food!

at times possibly some of the family members, definitely the cats, but not the dog!

Let it be known that I would sell my amigo Oldemagics in a heartbeat, but the cats never. I have given lots of the turtles to good homes, but never sold one, and never will.

In an instant if it wasn't my sons dog and I'd have to listen to him cry about it every day. When he gets tired I still here about how much he misses the dog that died, the cat we had to give up because of allergies and the 3 fish he has had.[:(] I love animals and always had a dog growing up but they were outdoor pets. It's different when they live in the house with you. All that hair![xx(]

Not really, we just hate when the men and kids beg and plead to get one, much to our objection, we consent because we are promised "I-swear-I'll-feed/bathe/walk/pick up the dog poo after him, oh, please,please,PLEASE!!!!!...", then we end up doing the majority of the feeding, cleaning up after, and otherwise caring for them, or prodding someone else to pick up their end of the deal.[}:)]
