Shooter was bullied.....
Well, the news keeps repeating what most of us already knew. The Va. Tech murderer was bullied at school.
As I kept hearing it, a question popped into my head.
Why is bullying such a common theme in these events? Is the torment inflicted by classmates enough to drive a person insane....or is it something else?
Are these shooters bullied because their classmates (perhaps unknowningly) sense that something isn't quite "right" about them....

I did, and I was big enough to back the bully off. Even though, in my day the teachers were first to put a stop to it if they saw it because they weren't hampered by the "hug'em and give'em a time out" theology that seems to permeate parents and the school system of today.
If you bullied someone, you generally got a butt busting at school, and another when you got home. Maybe that's why there wasn't as much of it back then.0 -
This kid was bullied in high school. I saw an interview with one of the killer's eighth grade classmates.
The killer was just off the boat from Korea and his English was not very good. When he had to get up before the class and give a report, the kids at the back of the class would goof on him, speaking with fake Korean accents etc. He could hear this and it was humiliating to him.
This guy who was being interviewed admitted that he was one of the ones who made fun of the Korean boy.
When I saw this interview, I was able to understand who the killer's anger expressed on that video was directed at.0 -
then wait after school for the bullies one by one with a baseball bat and bust their kneecaps to teach them a lesson if they have been bullies.
