Are You Fat?
How many members consider themselves to be overweight?
I think I actually GAINED weight during my surgery/recovery last month. I weigh ten more pounds than I did three weeks ago before they operated.
That puts me at about 210. I need to be at 195-200, that is my fighting weight. I won't be released for strenuous exercise for two more weeks. When released it's -

I'm 5'-11", 198lbs. 190 is my ideal weight. I also gained 10 after my hernia operation in late April. I'm sloooowly losing it. 0 -
I weigh more than what I want to, but I'm not overweight.
I'd like to get six-pack abs back, but I suck at eating right, and not consuming half of my calories in the form of malted hops, and barley.

5'10" 230lb. I know I am over weight. But I like to eat. Im losing weight, striving for that 170lb i played football at in high school. (prolly wont happen)[:p] 0 -
Hell no,6'1" or so around 205-210.....most people would never guess i weight that much they think i am around 180......i am pretty solid...when the farming stuff slows back down i got to get back to lifting weights. would like to get to around 225...dont know why just for i guess. 0 -
5'10" 175lbs.
Want to get back to 160, but too much beer, I presume.
I have dropped about 15 lbs over the last couple months, but my weight fluctutes during work season and off season anyways.0 -
...My weight is fine. It's just not distributed correctly. 5'10" and 160 lbs. That's 10# over what I weighed in high school, (1974). I have this Old Milwaukee gut that's tough to get rid of when there's a bunch of metal holding my spine together. Excuses, excuses....[:D] 0 -
Actually I've been hitting the weights mixed with some Aerobic activity for a while seeing little results save that I feel so much better!! 0 -
Not even close, but, I too put on a few pounds while I was "convalessing" this summer. 0 -
I don't consider myself overweight. I'm 5'11" and 220-225 pounds, but a large portion of that is muscle, especially in my legs, hips, back and arms. I'm a little softer than I'd like and I wouldn't mind tightening up a bit, but I'm not overweight to the extent it could affect my health to a substantial degree.
With that said, most doctors, "experts" and insurance folks would consider me overweight for my height. What matters isn't the weight itself, but the composition of that weight, i.e. fat vs. muscle.0 -
I am a little on the skinny side, 5'9" and 150#. Don 0 -
Like Don, I'm skinny. 5'10", only 231 this morning. I think if I turned sideways going through a door you couldn't see me. Uhh, likely ya wouldn't see very dang much of the door either.. 0 -
If you are the same height standing and laying down you may be fat![:D] 0
