Favorite end-of-movie shootout?
OK, so as I was working out last night, I popped in the DVD of the Getaway (McQueen version). I know there are lots of more modern movies that have spectacular ending gunfights, but for some reason, the one in this movie is my favorite. There's just something about the fine shotgun work that tops the others, in my opinion.
So, what's your favorite, movie-ending shootout?

It isn't the end of the movie, but I still loved the office scene in Terminator 2. 0 -
Hmmm...
Probably the entire hospital shootout in John Woo's "Hard Boiled". Only shootout I've ever seen with a Contender...
Although, the shootout at the end of the new Miami Vice movie is pretty decent, as well. Michael Mann does do a nice job choreographing his violence (the downtown shootout in "Heat", anyone?).
And, you can never forget "The Wild Bunch"...0 -
The Wild Bunch...[}:)][8D] 0 -
The one you never get to see in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid with Redford and Newman. 0 -
Open Range because it it more realistic in that they actually miss people once in a while AND have to reload! Imagine That[:0] 0 -
the one in Young Guns II was pretty good. I think it was at the end too.
the one in The Unforgiven was probably how they usually went back then.0 -
It's not at the end, but I like the opening scene to Saving Private Ryan. 0 -
dude, I just about jumped behind my seat on that one. that was hellacious. 0 -

Gunfight at the OK Corral - most recent version.
It's History - really happened.

I thought the end of Yentl, when Barbara Streisand rips off her mask, revealing she is actually Charles Bronson, and then kills everyone in her family with a sawed-off, was just wonderful. At the very end when he runs out of ammo and the rabbi thinks he'll get away, and then Bronson caves in the back of his head with a brick--dude, that was sweet. 0 -
how bout "History of Violence" 0 -
I'd have to say MR. and MRS Smith in the house shoot out. Jolie just looked way to hot with a gun there.[:p]
Other then that probally Heat.0 -
