Occupation, what do you do?
Just wondering what some of you guys (and gals) do to earn the $$$$ to pay for this not so cheap hobby that we have!!
I was a machinist by trade, courtesy of Uncle Sam. I picked up my trade in the Navy (Lifemember V.F.W. Post 7687), served my apprenticeship and worked for an Aerospace company for the last 25 years. Retired last February and enjoying life ever since.
My wife runs a lab for an analytical testing company doing materials testing and analysis.
We have 4 kid's, 3 girls and a boy who all par-take in shooting sports of one kind or another.
So, there's a little background on me.
Anyone else?

I have for the last ten helped the U.S. Air Force train 1/3 of their pilots by keeping the aircraft they fly air worthy. I am T-1 (Beech 400) air craft mechanic with several certs and responsibilities. Before that I drove a Pepsi truck for 6 years. Strange how life takes you in different directions almost overnight. 0 -

My flying hobby turned into a job. I build airplanes in my hangar for other pilots. 0 -
Technically I teach for a living. In fact I'm earning a Ph.D for a living (yes, in some fields they will pay you to go to school).
I take the teaching part seriously (because those kids deserve it). But I've been given to understand that the bread is buttered on the strength of my progress with my research.
Oh! And I plan to be unemployed (graduated!) within nine months....six if all goes well and I really knuckle down (which is not a likely confluence of events).0 -
Male stripper/model/prostitute ... oh, and I'm a democrat.

I am one of the leading causes of America's obesity epidemic.
I make sugar.
Last time I did the math, I (& the shift I'm on) produce approx. 1.25% of the nation's consumed sugar.
In other words, I can truly claim to be a sugar daddy.0 -
