Mex flag cut down in Reno
Remo police didnt know what in hell to do so Army Vet did it for them
as its against the Federal Law. Quote from WND today:
After hearing a Reno bar was flying a Mexican flag above a U.S. flag, an angered U.S. Army veteran took matters into his own hands, drove to the site and cut down the banners in front of a stunned group of Hispanic patrons.
Reno television station KRNV, which was there to document Jim Broussard's act of defiance, noted the U.S. code prohibits raising the flag of any other nations above Old Glory.

Evidentaly laws AND law enforcement people cant/or wont handle these

Reading this thread for the first time, I am astounded at what a bunch of clowns there are posting. To go on a mans property and destroy/alter his/my stuff there would get an unpleasant reaction from me.
How would some of you dumb rednecks like it if some other dumb redneck who rants "BUY AMERICAN" came on your property and torched your foreign car? Still want to give the guy a medal?

Good post skyking! There should be a reaction from good decent human beings, it's the criminally minded cowards that don't have the spine to stand up for their beliefs like you. If this were an isolated incident, then your opinion would have more merit. As it stands it rates little more than lip-service from the local authorities, and nothing BUT praise from all red-blooded American citizens.
I think the guy's actions deserve MORE merit than the patriots who were involved in the Boston Tea Party, since he did it in front people in broad daylight! Flying Mexican Rags above Old Glory with the damn problems we have, not only with uncontrollable immigration and illegal aliens, but with crooked ass politicians and their puppet masters who are shoving this ANTI-AMERICAN multicultural crap Amnesty-Dream Act BS down the throats of the silent majority is less than tolerable!

Amnesty be damned. I am talking about the man's private property. If he tries that shiite at the post office, school, or courthouse, whip his ass and crap on his flag, but on his own property a freeman should be able to do what he wants free from idiots' interference.

My name is Peter Ryan Lynch, and I am a student at UNM. I am a decorated eight-year veteran of the U.S. military, honorably discharged in July. I am appalled that a foreign flag flew unaccompanied on a UNM campus flagpole for three days, including a U.S. holiday. I am an American who is passionate about our country, and I would feel the same way if it were any foreign flag.
The Mexican flag was flying over UNM campus unaccompanied by an American flag on U.S. Constitution Day, Sept. 17.
According to the United States Code (federal law): "The flag should be displayed on all days, especially on Constitution Day, September 17. The flag should be displayed daily on or near the main administration building of every public institution .... The flag should be displayed during school days in or near every schoolhouse."
Throughout history, flying a nation's banner is a claim of ownership. To do this on U.S. Constitution Day is an insult to all Americans. I am outraged that the UNM administration allowed this to happen. I thought the administration would address the issue before my class was over. I left class, and the foreign banner was still unaccompanied. I went to the dean's office pleading for action. I also notified the Army ROTC, which has the honor of raising and lowering the U.S. flag on campus this month. I waited one to 1 1/2 hours after these notifications to take action myself. I made a profound statement and tore down this foreign banner. My actions, although overzealous, were warranted.
Americans have one of the most diverse cultures on the planet. We embrace our differences, and unless you are a foreign visitor or illegal immigrant, your nationality is American. We are all equals under the Constitution and the Stars and Stripes that protect us. Americans should fly their nation's banner with pride.
UNM is a public institution governed by the laws of our nation. But on Sept. 17, federal law was broken. Americans are insulted, and I am livid. With all the press coverage, only Julian Martinez said anything in my defense. Furthermore, the press has a responsibility to gather all facts before printing.
I would like to assure El Centro de la Raza that hate or racism did not motivate my actions. I ask the UNM administration, specifically President David Schmidly, interim vice president for institutional diversity Rita Martinez-Purson and vice president for student affairs Cheo Torres, to apologize to all American students, including Mexican-American students, for allowing a foreign banner to fly over UNM for three days in violation of federal law.

I'll tell you what, IMO the Vet is a hero. He deserves a gold medal.
I wish I had his intestinal fortitude to do what he did.
I see Cuban, Columbian, Mexican...you name it, flags here in Miami. Yet, you rarely see Old Glory proudly flying. On many occassions I've wanted to grab the invaders flag and trash it.
Having a mortgage to pay and kids to raise has prevented me from doing what this gentleman did. My hat's off to him.0 -

If they want American jobs why dont we round up the illegals and send them off the China when the American job have gone.I will pay the fare for at least a dozen of them.
