What gets me is everyone is so busy harping about illegals, MOST who are working and being a good person, yes law abiding...But a citizen is a mass murderer, a drug trafficker, a pedofile, or whatever else, and he/she is given everything to go out and do the flipping crime again..yes no one does a damn thing to stop them...ohhhhh no...You are all complaining about the cost of food etc, well shut up and pay more when all the illegals are not doing the job anymore...or the product may not even be available, cause no one wants to do the job ....

January 1st, a new law in Arizona will go into effect, forcing illegal aliens to seek refuge in "sanctuary cities" across America, while others decide to head home to their country of origin. The employers in Arizona are faced with a challenge this coming year that will force them to identify who their workers are, or face hefty fines, and the possibility of losing their business licenses, if they continue to employ illegal aliens.
"Sanctuary Cities" will turn an eye to crime in their communities when it involves an illegal alien, while Americans that commit the same crime will be incarcerated. This incredible injustice has law enforcement hands tied with very little recourse to help defend communities from criminals, child predators, and rapists. They're coming to your town within 30 days...
Unless citizens step-up to the plate to report illegal aliens to Immigration Customs and Enforcement (I.C.I.) nobody else can do it! Law enforcement in sanctuary cities are in most cases restricted from asking a suspect his nationality status, let alone allowed to call I.C.E. ! (See Article Below)
If and when a criminal illegal alien is reported to I.C.E., the sanctuary city's policy can essentially cause the reporting officer to be fired!
If American citizens do not get involved, your playgrounds, schools, and businesses, not to mention your welfare, and health facilities, will be saturated by an unwelcome part of society, no matter what country they come from. Open border "race baiters" want to stigmatize the debate as a "paranoia" issue without basis or facts. The statistics are staggering and Americans still believe the immigration crisis is nothing more than poor foreigners looking for a better life. The problem with that..the poor immigrant is connected to a very bad criminal element enterprise sweeping America like a virus, with those that want to create havoc on a community.
Criminals are going to benefit from sanctuary laws and Americans will pay the price. Immigrants looking for a better life are often connected to organized crime through family, or rogue businesses that facilitate money laundering and document fraud. Sanctuary cities will be and are the central locations for organized crime involving illegal immigration. Forcing them out is not a "racial" issue but a practical solution.
Arizona is flushing them-out, as Oklahoma and Tennessee is about to do, but at the same time, the push is going to worsen the problems for unsuspecting Americans in those cities where politicians are trading votes for criminals.
Guillermo Santini 33, an illegal alien working in Arizona as a construction worker, making $1,200 a week, is packing-up his family and heading back to Mexico, as the "Employer Citizenship Verification Law" goes into effect soon. He is one of many good families leaving the state, but those with criminal records in Mexico will not be going back. Those with diseases will not be going back either, since medical care is essential for them in the United States. Compound that problem with the rise in TB, Malaria, and Leprosy, and now Polio, in the Southwest United States, these disease carriers will be moving to sanctuary cities. They will not be going back to their home country.
The argument that Arizona is losing good workers, is true..even though many employer's enjoyed the cheap labor, the change in Arizona laws will cause employer's to pay better wages and attract Americans from around the country. While the federal government sits on their hands while not securing the border, current "guest worker" programs requiring modifications will not allow people like Guillermo Santini to apply legally in-order to return back to his construction job in Arizona.
If we as a country do not have the cooperation from a country like Mexico to assist ex-patriots with proper re-processing of immigrants that have a successful history of work in the United States, then we cannot expect a successful attrition of illegal aliens through self deportation. Comprehensive measures for those illegal aliens already in the United States is a process that is doomed for failure, since a background check of an illegal alien with false identification and the lack of cooperation by authorities in Mexico to verify an individual is a failure waiting to happen.
The federal government has failed the American people and they have failed the immigrant.the good immigrants that ARE making a difference in our economy. Ignoring the most important aspect of immigration control.protecting our communities from gang thugs illegally in the U.S., those medically challenged, child predators, and those with criminal intent is the number one concern for this country. Like Guillermo Santini, and thousands of other successful illegal aliens, going back to their country, hopefully they will demand accountability from their own government to curve the promotion of illegal activity in the United States.
Legal immigrants and U.S. Citizens in the United States have had enough and demand foreign governments to recognize our laws as real and not some type of myth that suits a certain class of people.
Citizens can make a difference and stop the flow of illegal aliens to their community by standing-up to local and state officials and demand accountability, while supporting law enforcement. Neighborhood Watch groups need to focus on this growing problem, and be ready to address these issues in a pragmatic way. Speak-up, be heard, be active and demand that your city adopt laws that allow law enforcement to do their job.

I don't have illegal "friends." I would look them in the eye and explain why they need to go to ICE and report themselves. I would give them time to do it. Then; if they did not go, I would turn them in because it is the right thing to do. 0 -

No I am not saying I am better than anyone, but ppl seem to forget there are scum that are born here, ppl that break the law every day, ppl on here that break it, ppl that are born here are blood suckers, draining the system for generations, where else do you see grandparents, parents, kids and their kids on welfare?...
What I would like to see is an easier more inexpensive way for a person to become legal, a person who only wants to live in the country, help it, support it, pay taxes and defend it rather than making it almost impossible for anyone EXCEPT a few who have refugee status even before they arrive here....and they dont give a damn about the country....just as I would like to see the citizens of this country who dont give a damn about it pay for someone who actually wants to be here....
I hope that makes my stand a bit clearer...Yes deport the illegals who committ crimes, but the ones who only want a better life and love the country already, and are willing to die for it? Cant we somehow help them become legal? god knows there are enough citizens who dont care about the country...

Most illegals are good and honest contributors to society. For those types, no, I would not turn them in. However, for any of them that commit crimes (including drunk driving) I would report them. I think all law breakers that are illegal should be deported. 0 -
She came here legally and worked for a year in the medical field, went home to her country and then received another 1 year work visa.
She came back and tried to do everything to legally become a citisen but for some reason went past the deadline and now for the last 8 years is afraid to pursue a legal citizenship because she will be deported.
and most likely never allowed back in.
Like I said before she has helped the medical community with Diabetes research and in turn helped several thousands of Americans.
She probably has done more good for more people in her short time here than I have in my whole life.

In Washington state they do not do any checks for a driver license.
I know which side of the fence I would be on if I didn't personally know her, so I appreciate all the comments and answers because it is a tough situation to be in.
And I am not going to be the one to blow the whistle on her.
