Just curious. I test turbine engines for a living. It is interesting and challenging. Side line buying and selling guns and accessories at gunshows.[:)][?]

I have always groomed my own dogs. While I don't have the tie-downs that a professional groomer has, I can admit that there is never a dull moment while using the clippers.

NO!!!!
I dislike Fastenal. They are the "convenience store" of the fastener industry!!! They spend more time selling smoke and mirrors then supplying fasteners. They also sell ladders, light bulbs, and work gloves. I've yet to meet anyone from Fastenal that knows anything about fasteners!!0 -

I work for the phone company as an outside technician. The work itself isn't so interesting really, but i really enjoy figuring out problems and repairing them. It's sort of like a phone problem detective a lot of times. Very satisfying when i do it well.
The more interesting part is that i get to meet different people every day, all day long, and in many cases work in their houses and see how people live.
I see homes ranging from complete dumps in povery ridden neighborhoods, illegal mexicans living in apartments nearly empty of furniture, with a kitchen table, some matresses, and a few chairs, to amzingly huge expensive mansions, with kidney shaped pools 25 yards from the beach.0 -

I started as a Chemical Engineer in the Environmental Consulting industry. Then moved into the world of process control and production management in the polyurethane industry. Picked up a masters in business and eventually became the GM of a medium sized polyurethane molding company. Got tired of working for others and started selling securities, life, disability, and LTC insurance. I'll keep doing this but I have started consulting in the world of plastics again. I think I have the best job... I work as a trainer for the disabled. I do social training and train their teachers and parents how to deal with child crisis. It is rewarding and fustrating. I have never been more humbled then I am when an autistic five year old takes three min. to figure out a problem I've struggled with today... and the polititians say their disabled[}:)] 0 -

Well, I think my job is interesting.
Grains are brought in from the farm, three kinds of wheat, spelt, rye, clean 'em, package some whole, mill some into flour, some for the bakery, some for resale, small as #5 bags, big as ton bags, ship the stuff, continually trying to keep the cleaners and mill running properly. There is a little more to milling than just running wheat berries through. I like my job, most of the time. Swing shift "supervisor," lot of pressure lately for more production with "tired" equipment

I love my job! I have been a BMW and Triumph motorcycle dealer for 26 years, met some wonderful people and done some great rides. I worked as a tech for 7 years before that.
I've been around guns since I was a kid, and riding, shooting, climbing, and writing are my
favorite activities. I forget who said it but retail turned my beard snow white (I'm 60)
but the hair is still brown and I can still keep up with the younger riders, so it's all good!
My wife is my business partner, and it has been a joy to work with her all these years.
