Do you have an interesting job?
Just curious. I test turbine engines for a living. It is interesting and challenging. Side line buying and selling guns and accessories at gunshows.[:)][?]

No. I am a business owner. I grow gray hair for a living, and buy and sell guns on the side. 0 -
My only job is to be a good Grandpa. Being around the grandkids can sometimes be very interesting and comical. 0 -
Work at a company that makes women's hosiery.
Been doing it for almost 35 years. Some yarns we use are 60 times finer than a human hair. Knitting machines form 19,000 stitch loops per second. Each pair is processed or handled by around 19 people. I think it is interesting. Oh yeah I almost forgot there are lingerie photo shoots for catalogs and such.0 -
if you call being the ENTIRE dept running the mechanicals and security for six locations spread nearly crom county line to county line, well over 20 2,000 psi pumps dozens of smaller ones, few dozen miles of hose, tube and wireing along with all the automation, sensors etc. interesting then i guess i do
and dont forget dealing with all the "customers", half of whom are illegals with limited or no english, who will pull a knife on you over $1.25 they feel they are owed a refund for cause it "no work".
(dont work cause they were too dumb to put in the right amount)
people who think we have trash cans for them to come dump their household and re-modeling trash, vandalism, break-ins and thefts of equipment as wel as riping off the vending and change machines
one time they dropped someone into the boiler stack to bust the pipes apart, then proceeded to let the bunch in and un-bolted the entire change machine from the wall and took it, last week they tried to remove one by running into the building with a (presumably stolen) car0 -

Oh yea, Navy, it's not just a job it's an adventure. 0 -
Started a new career just recently. Financial planning and investment consulting. At the end of the day it's just another sales job really. I've been in sales for twenty one years. In my opinion there is nothing more exciting or interesting than the science of selling. 0 -
depends on what you call interesting...i drive and operate a vacuumnm truck and a high pressure water blasting truck...we go up about 50,000psi, more than enough to demolish concrete or cut someone in half if you`re not careful!i get to go to a lot of nice places, but it keeps me from my family which i dont like at all, but it pays the bills. 0 -
Yep - absolutely.

I was this...and still am. I'm looking for a new career. I've had some very interesting jobs. I've done the grunt work...I've worked for celebrities...I've done executive protection...I was a custom builder for 12 years...I started an airport shuttle company that did over a half million our first year in business. I've done a lot of things, but you know what...The job that has meant the most to me...the one I would not change for the world...was that I was a United States Army Paratrooper...who fought for this nation in combat. The Lord has blessed me with a lot of talent. Had I not taken the path I chose, I would probably be a biomedical engineer...now I need one just to figure out what's wrong with me...the irony. I'm about to embark on a new career path...I do not know what it is, but I am looking forward to being all I can be.0 -

I used to do that, but I became very tired of hating what I did every day, now I just play with guns all day, I even have a cool title, I'm the Firearms Specialist[:D]0 -
Nah, I'm retarded - I just heat up cold drinks, cool down hot ones, and turn good vittles into...... 0 -
I've seen fire and I've seen rain.
I've swam in the Mississippi in January. (In an gumby suit)
I've fallen of a rail car, but driving the loco was fun.
I've watched fire dance across a lake of molten glass inside the brimstone.
I enjoy my job, but I try not to let it become too much of my life. Life is better when I'm not chasing down that golden calf. There are more important things in life than pursuing a "successful" job and sacrificing other priorities.0 -
I onced worked for Anthony Ray aka Sir Mixalot of "baby got back" fame
That was sort of interesting.
Now the most interesting part of my jobs is the people.
Great great people I work with.0 -
Dog groomer - never a dull moment. 0 -
Once worked as test pilot for heavy equipement front end loaders, engineering test lab tech. Job was actually fun, and paied well also. 0 -
I love my job. I get paid to travel the world and conduct audits. I like auditing because it allows me to help our business get better and keep customers happy. They are paying for my Masters Degree and I get paid a salary on top of all that! 0 -
US ARMY INFANTRY Platoon Sergeant...there is no better job in the world the leading 40 men into combat and then bringing them all home. 0 -
I began as a Petroleum Engineer, moved on to Structural Engineer and then became a partner in an engineering firm. It has been interesting (refineries are fascinating places), often adventurous (off shore drilling is like nothing else in the industry) and some times even fun. These days I'd say I am "comfortable". 0 -
I sell industrial fasteners. Screws, nuts, washers, bearings etc. I've been doing it for 28 years+ I don't really know anything else.
Certainly not too exciting!!!!
I always wanted to be a stunt double in the adult movies.........0 -
Hmmmmm...
The job is fascinating to ME. It is also very difficult to explain. My official title is "Vice President" and my job involves a ton of research and writing, mostly to help this small company grow to be a much larger (and wealthier) entity. I research targeted customers and distributors as well, and head up the effort to enter the company into hunting and fishing retail markets.
I've been known to do sales. I've been known to work the production line when we have a huge order and not enough hands to complete it on time. I've been known to be the recording secretary in meetings, and I've been known to be the mail clerk in the mornings.
My big project right now is to conduct the research to completely revamp our website and create something that will really hit home to our targeted customers.
Our company is so small (we have 11 employees) that I pretty much will wear every hat that is required in order to get the job done and the company's day started right.
I do a ton of traveling, and I get to go to interesting places (unlike my last job where I went to very boring places for three weeks at a time). In three weeks I'll be in Orlando. In two months I'll be in Vegas. Two months ago I was in Chicago. Toronto comes up in May.
So, while I am not the official back waxer of the Miss Universe pageant, I think I have an interesting job, and no two days are ever the same.0 -
