Tattooo's? What you got?
I've got a couple, and been thinking about getting a new one. What's everybody else got?

Bengal Tiger on outside of left shoulder; head and shoulders of White Tiger on outsidee of right shoulder; and double heart with the names of me and my beloved deceased wife over a banner that says "forever" on the inside on my left forearm. BTW, I'm 68 yrs old and have had these for about 4 years. Probably will not do any more. 0 -
none. Don't want one either.
Growing up, only bikers and their women had tatoos, not counting the WWII (especially Navy) vets who had them. And bikers weren't the glam figures they are today. I had a teacher in HS who had a tat on his forearm..mabye back in 1944 it was a ship, but by 1984 is was a blur....
Nahhh...pass0 -
I think for the most part people w/Tattoos have never had much attention in their lives and think defacing their bodies will give them some. They somehow think they will get noticed and stand out in a crowd ...what BS it all is. 0 -
I think if a person wants a tat, thats their business. I do think its good manners though to have it placed were it can be easily covered.quote:Originally posted by Griff59

Like tat's-all kinds. Love piercings too-all kinds.
They should be able to be covered modestly for certain situations. People do have predisposed opinions on those who have had their ink exposed.
All 4 of mine are covered by a T shirt.0 -

yep, Ive seen lots of people like that
they walk around showing off their tattoos like they are trying to tell the world "Hey everybody! LOOK at ME! I WANT SOME ATTENTION and RESPECT"
tattoos are a sign of insecurity / low self esteem
a person confident in themselves doesnt need to put a tattoo on their body to feel better, for reassurance0 -

Not even close to the reason I have tat's. But as I said before, To each their own.0 -
I have two and am dam proud of them. Half the people that have negative remarks about them wish in their own mind that they had the guts to get one. If I wasn't so old, I would probably be getting more. HARLEY'S AND TATOOS GO TOGETHER.[:D][:D][:D]
This is BS that the Marines are pulling about tatoos also. A Marine fights for his country regardless if he has a tatoo or not. If you think your a better person than I am because you don't have a tatoo then you got another think coming.[:(!][:(!]0 -

I've always wanted two tatoo's. A propeller on each cheek of my butt.

I would have thought there would be more good pics on a thread like this. My hat is off to you gagirl. I love the tat and your attitude about your cute little backside. 0 -

I got about a dozen and 1 covers the left side of my back. My artist was killed in a M/C accident before he did the other side. I sat with him after they took him off of life support we were that close[V] Tat, Ink, Pic's, Tramp Stamp whatever you call it, most of it is just the way you express yourself. My Body My Choice, is what a girl I tattoo'd told me...YES I did some serious ink at one time for one of the "if not the biggest" shops in Chicago....BTW, nice crackage "G"[;)]

I never understood why anyone would want a job that required suit and tie. I just don't get it. But thats just me.0 -

Kind of like a guy I know. He once was the co.'s "purchasing agent", then got promoted to "buyer". When asked what the difference was between a purchasing agent and a buyer, he promptly replied" about 15k".[:)][:)]0 -

Not even close.
I've been in small-market radio my entire life, so I get enough attention.
I got tats on my calves because I thought they were cool. If I don't want anybody to see them, I wear long pants. I briefly thought about trying, but I just can't bring myself to care what people think of my tats. I got 'em. I like 'em and if you don't like 'em, then look away, son. Just look away.0 -

In my late 20's I had an office job. Reserved parking place, secretary..ect.. It took me about 10 yrs but I figured out that I don't like working inside. I work in and out now depending on what research we are working on. But I prefer to be outside. Money isn't everything0 -
Don't... and won't. 0 -

That is mine. (and for those of you who are offended by my butt crack I dont give a rats ass)
The crap that is spewed above is nonsense and is not the way things are anymore. I see many people with billions of $ and that are very well educated with tats. You cant see mine when I wam working but I am far from ashamed of it.
I am getting a new one with David's new Fire Chief # on the helmet.
Glad to see you are also a qualified plumber. [:D]0
