    Brittany is my sister. I ask anyone, if you ever have any information, please contact the Winnsboro authorities. Thank you.

    I am the proud mother of Brittany McGlone. It has been 19 days now since my beautiful, truly good daughter was murdered. There has yet to be an arrest. My family and I live in Winnsboro and are now paranoid and petrified of this senseless, brutal killer.
    I beg you, please, if you know of anything, even if you think it inconsequential, to call Lt. Miles Tucker with the Wood County Sheriff's Department. His number is (903) 763-2201.
    I thank you in advance for your time and attention.
    Please continue to pray for me, her Dad, her step-mom, 6 brothers, 1 sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

    Evil runs rampant in this world.
    Surely there must indeed be a God...and may he help you in this time of need.

    He was her ex boyfriend, he had broken up with her a month prior to her murder. His reason was she did not like his mother. (He was still breastfeeding and attached at the umbilicus.) However, he is not the main suspect.
    I do believe in God, even through this, the darkest of a mothers hours. I did question him, though, Why my daughter? She was my only daughter. Why didn't He protect her? She was so good and the murder so vile, it still makes no sense. But God has sustained me, as evidenced by my sitting here typing and crusading instead of bouncing around in a strait jacket locked in a rubber room.
    I also have 3 sons living, and they have a brother and sister, so I have to set the standard for the remainder of their lives. I will not let that horrific monster steal another moment from my life and especially not from my children.
    Again, thank you all for your support and encouraging words. AND for allowing me to vent.

    boyfriend or ex boyfriend.Slow it down a bit, Sherlock.

    Rest assured there are lots of elements to this offense we aren't privy to.

    gipsynurse-I live in a county adjacent to yours and have daughters, too. My heart goes out to you.

    I sincerely hope this animal is identified soon and proper punishment is meted out. Please keep us posted on any progress.

    "Say to those with fearful hearts,
    Be strong, do not fear,
    Your God will come,
    He will come with vengeance;
    with divine retribution
    He will come to save you."
    Isaiah 35:4

    "He saw that there was no one,
    He was appalled that there was no one
    to intervene;
    so His own arm worked salvation for Him
    and His own righteousness sustained Him.
    He put on righteousness as His breastplate
    and the helmet of salvation on His head;
    He put on the garments of vengeance
    and wrapped Himself in zeal as in a cloak."
    Isaiah 59:16-17

    May God bless you all for your support and kindness during our most grievous time.

    AMEN, Gipsy;
    You are a wonder...strong and determined. Wish there were more like you.
    This dark hour is beyond out mortal ken to understand...but this world is the devils playground at the moment...and he is causing as much misery among the faithful and good as he possible can.

    Look around you..he is rewarding his own with power and money beyond measure...but OUR time is coming.

    You WILL see your daughter again..and a glorious day that will be.

    Thank you Ben, Psycho and Highball.
    I am certain I will see my daughter again; that thought, my loving Heavenly Father and support like yours is sustaining me and my family.
    Thank you.

    It has been three weeks today since Brittany was murdered.
    Does anyone know if calling in the Texas Rangers would help?
    Thank you in advance for your time and attention.

    David Nunn (Nunn, moderator) in real life, is a Texas Peace Officer.

    Direct an E-Mail to him, privately, in case he does not see your post.

    He may be able to give you some advice in the matter.

    The other thing being...were I you...I would try to move Heaven or Hell to bring those guilty to the gallows....whereEVER it would lead to.

    Just MY opinion here...but if you pursue those guilty into the lairs you speak of...you better become proficient in the use of self protection...that being a .45.
    They will come after YOU...if you persist.

    Not trying to discourage you, here...its called a 'heads up'...and your personal security is YOUR job..not the police. They will appear magically AFTER the fact.

    ...Im so sorry for your loss, prayers and thoughts your way.

    ...The Texas Rangers would be a VERY good idea, if they get involved with this case. The Texas Rangers are a very determined group, VERY close knit and undeterred; if you can get them involved, give it a try...I would. I know if I was a scum bag the last thing I would want, would be the Rangers looking for me.

    ...I have no idea what criteria the case has to meet for them to get involved though. The only Ranger I ever knew, passed away a few years ago...[;)]
