I filed for divorce yesterday.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
Audrey left last night and took Deanna with her. I haven't seen either of them today.

This is the first Christmas I can ever recall - except for when I was in the Army - spending alone. It's a strange and depressing feeling. I guess I'd better get used to it.

Your strength and support is helping me immeasurably.

    Ouch, sorry Doug, that is very hard even if you are the one leaving. Don't plan on making any other big dicisions for the next year or two, give yourself time to adjust to being single.

    Jesus hates divorce. So do I. But, like war and brain surgery, sometimes it's the only option left. I thank God every day for the one I got in '90, after 18.5 years of misery. Two years later, I met and married the love of my life.

    Do the right thing, and move on. God bless.

    Here's some free advice that I tell my clients:
    1. Full disclosure is a must. Most states provide that if you hide an asset, and it is discovered later, you lose it.
    2. Never badmouth mom to ANYONE, ESPECIALLY THE KIDS.
    3. Some people think its cute to have a nasty ring tone when the soon to be ex calls, like "Ding, Dong, the Witch is Dead", or "the Bi-ch is Back". Don't do it.
    4. Anything you do on the computer is fair game. Be careful of what you surf on the net.
    5. When they push, you pull.
    6. Anyone who tells you that "you should sell all your guns now for a dollar to your pal, and then she's Shi- out of luck", is a moron.
    7. Don't leave anything out that you don't want her to find. She will find it.
    8. Listen to the attorney. I have a saying:

    "The Customer is always right; that is why attorneys don't have customers, they have clients."

    Divorces are expensive becuase they are worth it. Chin Up.
