Need a new gun for work
I work a low profile/high risk job as security in a local high traffic mall. I am wearing a level 3 vest and carrying an ar15 under the seat of my cart when patrolling the mall. I can't rely on the local cops as they are to busy driving around looking for donuts and giving tickets. I put my life on the line everyday for citizens and make many enimies from mall punks. So I need to find a newer higher power gun for my carry gun, right now I have a glock 9mm.

I thought you prefered the glock 30 0 -
hey I hope it is "gecko",
if it is post pics of your team like you did on your site0 -
that is dangerous work
I would not do without packing
a cut down m-16
12 -30rd mags alternating ss-109 and 50 gr ballistic tips
hk usp .45 with 6 mags of gold dots
suppressor
46" samurai sword
climbing shoes and a crossbow to shoot grappling hooks
and of course all under sniper protection0 -
Glock 36 0 -
The glock 36 is my personal carry. I also have a briefcase with some armor plates in it so i can cover my face in a fight and a homemade vest with plates in the front and back for walking to my car. You don't know how much of an enimy you make from a mall punk when you tazer them for taking double helpings of nutlogs from hickory farms. I protect people like you from the dregs of the earth. 0 -
I would try to get my hands on a 12 gauge street sweeper if I was you.
Anything less and you are just asking for trouble.0 -
You know, there is really no more dangerous job on earth than that of the mall cop.
True hazards of the job include taste-testing everything in the food court. If I had the job, I'd be carrying an industrial sized jar of Maalox for that situation.
Other dangerous aspects of the job is gawking at teenage girls in short-shorts and tank tops. Please familiarize yourself with the statutory rape laws in your particular jurisdiction.
As far as guns go, you've got to be joking. You need a GE Minigun for mall work. Any idiot knows that. I'd also recommend the optional grenade launcher and RPG-7 attachment.0 -
remington 870,18inbar. 10 shot tube #4 shot, and a speedfeed stock w/more ammo, para hi cap 45 for back up holds 14 w/one in the chamber, and 4 extra mags, w/the AR and these two your gonna be alright if you have good cover, Loko[;)] 0 -

I am surprised you would take this attitude with your sigline. look at what you say, there are school shootings, the kids are better armed than the police. Well I am there from a department that answers to homeland secruity to protect this gathering place of the public. You will not see me as I keep a low profile until something happens, even then we sweep in and neutralize the perp with little commotion. We get the job done, unlike the cops who are out grazing on donuts.0 -
I have a feeling you are not a real mall ninja 0 -
This could be purrfect for malls [;)]

My guess is if your employer knew about your "concerns" that you'd be out of there pretty quickly. 0 -

Yeah okay. Do you get to wear a dorky uniform and a neat Ranger Rick hat? Do you like spying on women in the dressing rooms?0 -
Welcome to GB there Gecko. It's about time that we get a real expert around here. Feel free to post as much as you can. In fact, you can even recount your daily exploits in the fascinating duty, which you so bravely perform, to keep our malls, grocery stores, and delicatessens safe. A heros welcome to you sir! 0 -

I do not spy on the women in the dressing rooms, that is for the regular security with their one way mirror cams. My uniform is all black to blend with the shadows including black bdu pants with extra pockets for my clips. I go with only the best as it is my life that is on the line when the neonazi mall punks come in and pilfer from stores. last month i had to tazer a punk after he assualted me with a orange julius. you know how hard it is to get the stains out?0 -
So if you are the real "gecko45" perhaps you can answer a question that has bothered me for some time. Is the "Orange Julius" in fact, been and currently remain a fictional facade concealing the entrance to the command center of your secret organization? 0 -

You're paid for this job, right, or is this one of those volunteer things?
How long have you lived with your mother? Have you ever been out on a date? Do you have a Starfleet uniform that you wear after "work" so you can keep the universe safe? Why is Chic-Fil-A closed on Sundays?0 -
Laugh all you want but i had to to through Super High Intensity Training for this job 0 -

Yeah I know. Six hours of locking and unlocking doors, twelve hours of learning the difference between 10-4 and 10-20 and 10-100, and knowing what to do when you hear Code Adam on the speakers is pretty tough stuff.0 -

You received special training? Intrigueing Gecko, do tell us about your training.
Your profile says Houston, but your legend says "near D.C."
Is this part of the whole undercover - low profile bit?0 -
So, who is this guy really? 0 -

I've been enjoying it since Zipper posted it this morning. Beats the hell outta sitting at my desk pushing numbers around. [^]0 -
This reminds me of this guy I meet at a party once. He claimed to be and ex-cop in hiding. Because someone blew his cover. He had been under deep cover for years. Seems like there was some bad cops that turned over names of under cover cops. He had to go into hidding because he had a contract for him. He couldn't trust the agency because of the mole, so just went into hidding.
Yeah, some people need cut back on the video games and move out of their mom's basement.0 -
Have you ever had to shoot someone, er, sorry, I meant "take somebody down," for mixing stripes and plaids at the Big and Tall men's clothier? 0 -
