One needs to understand this :
I no longer believe that ANYBODY supporting gun control is fighting for MY cause.
That cause is the restoration of the Constitution, and specifically the Second Amendment.
There is a clear bright line between gun controllers...whom I consider to be criminally insane...and those demanding a return to Constitutional principles.
Not one dollar of my money NOR time will be directed towards an organization that contains gun controllers ...except to fight them on every front.

Right around 40% of those that participated in my California poll support NO REGULATION. By your own admission, you stated:

"That is a bigger percentage then we get here, in General...every time we run the poll."

    You stated:

"Not one dollar of my money NOR time will be directed towards an organization that contains gun controllers ...except to fight them on every front."

So by your logic, you should be boycotting GB and all of it's participants:

    You previously posted this:

"If there are indeed gun owners ..even a few ..in California that actually embrace the Constitution and Bill of Rights EXACTLY as written...I will cease my highly vocal objections to sending anymore weapons there."

We have proven our stance to you. Will you be a man of honor and accept your brothers in California?

Is there some particular reason for you bouncing this thread to the top every little bit ?
Not complaining, here...but seeing aberrant behavior leads one to ask "why".

Perhaps I was right, after all, the first time. Reading skills appear to be a sometime thing, in certain people.
I felt this answer deserved its OWN thread...and posted it. Perhaps you could take a moment and actually read it.

YOU people elected the trash that makes your laws. Fix the laws, and you return the freeflow of goods. Don't cry and whine when sellers refuse to jump through MORE hoops, and open themselves up to possible litigation in the future.

As Don has suggested earlier, you people have NOT even used all the tools at your disposal. You talk a good game, but I can see through the Bullsnit.

Ahh this again, Cali-bashing for fun and no profit.

Quick question for those claiming that California gun owners are doing nothing or should be written off.

What is YOUR suggestion for what should be done?
March on Sacramento armed and overthrow the State Government?
Ignore the laws and become poster children for the Bradys?

And also, what would you do if you lived here?
    Run away?
Abandon all that you've worked for, your family, your house, your job and flee?

Seriously, many talk about how no one fights and how bravely they defend their rights but when faced with a difficult, uphill battle the suggestion is to run away with your tail between your legs?
Abandon the fight and the field to those who would piecemeal our Constitution?

So what happens when all the gun owners leave California and the ones who were left, who feel they have scored a massive victory, come to your State?
    Where will you run then?
How many times will you move, or more aptly, be driven from your home?

Some of you want to abandon the field and run away, some want to charge blindly in to the machinegun nest, neither route leads to victory.
So what is your other option?

So you don't have an answer, any valid response or even an acknowledgment of the questions is what I am hearing.

So a glib comment advocating 'a better attitude' coming from one who usesrude comments, insults and dismissive behavior to avoid actually answering a question.

I think you've answered my questions more clearly then you realize.

To those advocating armed rebellion and screaming about the unconstitutionality of firearms laws, I ask this, Where and how do you purchase your firearms? Are all your transactions done face to face with no paper trail? Do you build your own firearms in your basement? Or do you accquire your firearms through a FFL, filling out the 4473 along the way? Do you possess a CCW from your county/state? Basically, do you conform to the firearms laws in your state? I suspect you do.

So your bravado in advocating violent overthrow of the government or extreme civil disobedience is exposing you for what you are, all bark, no bite.

California gun owners are working hard fighting against a tough and determined enemy. We are making headway, in small steps, eliminating the insane tangle of firearms laws in this state. The stack of cards will tumble eventually, it takes time, patience and intelligence to put these laws to death, permanently. Done wrong, without forthought, planning, schemeing, gaming, examining every angle and every possible conclusion can do nothing but come back to bite. If allowed, the antis will find holes and use them against us, just as we have found holes in thier hastily concocted laws, to enact harsher and greater encompassing restrictions to our rights as Americans to keep and bear arms.

Its insane to see that there are so many out there who call themselves patriots who refuse to support those in the trenches. There are folks in California who do more in a day for YOUR firearms rights, than you have done in your lifetime. Berating and attempting to shun and dismiss Californians for what they are suffering does nothing but give fuel to the enemy.

So keep on disregarding the plight of California gun owners, and while your at it, write another check to the Bradys, thier divide and conquer tactics are working... with your help of course.

You have nothing of value you have added to this conversation. Just constantly attempting to dismiss California gun owners. You my friend, are the problem. You have ran and hid, and left your compadres to fight for you. Where Im from, we have a word for that and place for them to reside.

You are showing your true colors as a divider. One who wishes to split factions, to weaken your opponent. I question your motives my friend, your actions are falling right in line with the antis, you are giving support to the Bradys in your attempt to disarm a segment of the population. You may have some fooled sir, but I see you for who you really are....

QED once again. "Crazy", "divider", blah-blah-blah.

Mind though, I lost count of how many times I have asked these "gun owners" and fighters for all of our freedoms my very so simple question(s) and am yet to hear the answers. I hope I don't need to go into detail explaining what that means.

I will try, one more time, to explain reality.
    Obey ALL laws, today.
Withdraw from the political process...ADMIT that you have LOST. You ALREADY are a slave ...quite denying it.

Prepare yourself and your family for hard times. GROW A SET OF BALLS..and defend the Constitution and this country, when it is time.

Meanwhile ...PLEASE stop sniveling like a little girl about your fears over men talking about the Second Amendment..the REAL one...not the bent-over-a-barrel kind you boys enjoy out there.

How about a pinned up topic or even a webpage with the full text of "Highball's Manifesto"? I have sort of made it out over time what you stand for, but many new comers would benefit from a few page document explaining what it's all about and save themselves the confusion and embarrassment.

    As expected.

    Surrender.
    Give up.
    Retreat.
    Take the coward's way out.

I wish I could say I was surprised but real men don't lie.

This is way too funny, I mean, I know it's late, blah-blah, but this epic failure to comprehend a simple concept described in native tongue, nothing less of epic failure. [:D]

Imagine now trying to educate/convince a dozen of these, then a few dozen, etc.

I might have some ideas on how to accomplish some of the reeducation but it requires such a great deal of commitment that I think it's easier to just stick to your guns, pun kinda intended, and wait it out. These will end up subjects anyways, they'll never make it to be citizens.

Withdrawl from the process? No sir. We will follow the process until the bitter end, and when that end comes, will follow through with the rest of process.
Soap box, ballot box, cartridge box.
To quit at any time makes the next step illegitimate.

I dont quit, I dont surrender, I fight with all means avalible. Quitting and admitting defeat is the stuff of yellow coward sunshine patriots.

Gentlemen, we see here who we are dealing with. Those who claim to be pure supporters from behind the keyboard are showing thier true colors.

How is it relevant? Nothing more again but an attack on character, which has nothing to do with the subject, other than calling you all on what you're incapable of, at least right now, maybe a few years will pass, you'll get it.

This has proven to be ineffective. Over and over and over again. You obviously just got out of your diapers and bought your first gun, found out about that there is such a law as 2A and all out there: "young, dumb and full of cum", absolutely disregarding the paths others have walked and learned by long before you were able to piss standing on your two own feet.

Oh, forgive me the Interwebz Gods, I am just farting in the wind, ain't I?

    Sad, really.

The epic failure to understand rational discourse, if your dreams of a 'shooting match' ever do come true I'd lay odds that you'll be one of the first to go down.
Not in a 'blaze of glory'.
Not standing for what is right.
But in an act of supreme idiocy and futility.

Ahh well, you'll be mourned and forgotten and then people who know how to discuss, plan and work together will actually do what you claim to want to do.

here's the problem, every time you accept a new infringement, you have moved the finish line. At what point do you quit trying to get to their finish line using their rules? Don't you see that it is pointless to do this over and over and over and over.....
Allowing it to continue at a snails pace only leaves it your children to deal with the problem we made, if slaves have any way at their dosposal to deal with it. They have already gone wayyyy too far, but have done it so slowly that it is accepted. 2 processes at work here:

I am a lifelong resident of California and will tell you that all firearms regulations fly in the face of the founders intent. The founders intended for any freeman the right to protect themselves, their families and their country from all enemies foreign and domestic with the tools necessary to effectively achieve that goal. That is pretty clear to me and is about as clear an answer as I can give.

I believe there are very few of us firearms owners that are not hypocritical in one form or another. ANYONE that; acquires an FFL (of any type), uses an FFL for firearms purchases, fills out a 4473, registers a suppressor/SBS/SBR/etc, registered their pre '86 machine guns, etc. etc. etc is a little hypocritical. I will attest I have done at least one of those even though my beliefs are what they are.

Is there anyone that has posted to this thread advocating moving from California, overthrowing our legislature, repealing every gun law on the books in California, marching on Sacramento with rifles in hand that can stand up and shout, "I am one of those few!"

What good would it do? For one, it'll be challenged, secondly, it is very much irrelevant. And third, nobody is advocating anything of the sort.

Welcome to the forum, looks like you have a lot more sense than your predecessors.

Anyone care to address the same situation in Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, and New York and the injustice of gun rights in those states?
