Can I prevent buyers in certain states from bidding on my items?
Yes. You can block buyers from specific states by updating your Listing Defaults. Buyers located in those states will not be able to place bids on your items.
Where do I set state restrictions?
State restrictions are managed in your Listing Defaults under My GunBroker > Toolbox > Listing Tools > Listing Defaults.
Do I need to select multiple states one at a time?
Yes. Each state must be selected and added individually.
Will blocked buyers see my listings?
They may be able to view your listings, but they will not be able to place a bid if they are located in a blocked state.
Do these settings apply to all my listings?
These settings apply only to new listings created using the Listing Default template you updated. Existing listings are not affected.
Can I change or remove blocked states later?
Yes. You can return to your Listing Defaults at any time to add or remove states and save your changes.
Why would I want to block certain states?
Sellers often block states to comply with local laws, shipping restrictions, or personal sales preferences.
