What’s Changing?
To streamline navigation and better reflect how users search, we’re making the following updates:
- New categories added for improved specificity and organization
- Renamed categories to use more intuitive and consistent terminology
- Combined and consolidated categories to reduce redundancy
When Will These Changes Take Effect?
The new category structure is effective Wednesday April 23, 2025
Spotlight on New Categories
We’ve introduced a variety of new categories across multiple product areas—from Rimfire Ammo and Revolver Parts Kits, to Glock, HK, and TC Contender Parts Kits, Services which includes Firearms Training & Classes, Shooting Range & Events, and more. If you offer niche or specialty items, be sure to explore the new categories that may better represent your listings.
What This Means for You
You need to adjust your listings to reflect new and removed categories
- For categories that are going to be removed in the chart below, GunBroker will recategorize live listing to the new category number. See those in in the chart below.
- New listings (including relists) must specify these new category IDs.
- Links in your external marketing that use renamed categories in the URL may need to be updated.
