There are several reasons you may not receive emails from GunBroker. If you are not receiving emails from our site, they may be getting filtered, blocked, or rejected by your email service provider, Internet Service Provider (ISP), organization, or spam-filtering software.
While we can verify that an email was sent from our system, we cannot verify that it was successfully delivered to or received by your email account. In some cases, a rejected email may be returned to the sender as undeliverable. In other cases, the email may be filtered or blocked without a delivery failure notice.
Add GunBroker to Your Safe Senders or Allow List
To help prevent GunBroker emails from being filtered or blocked, add the following domain to your email provider's Safe Senders, Allow List, or equivalent:
gunbroker.com
Adding the domain allows your email provider to recognize messages from GunBroker as trusted email.
Please note: Adding gunbroker.com to your Safe Senders or Allow List can improve the likelihood that our emails reach your inbox, but it does not guarantee delivery. Email delivery may still be affected by spam filters, security settings, mailbox rules, storage limits, or policies controlled by your email provider, ISP, or organization.
Outlook, Hotmail, MSN, and Live Mail
Hotmail, MSN, Live Mail, and Outlook.com accounts use Microsoft's Outlook.com email settings.
- Sign in to your email account.
- Select Settings.
- Select Mail.
- Select Junk email.
- Under Safe senders and domains, select Add safe sender.
Enter:
gunbroker.com
- Select OK, then Save.
Also check Blocked senders and domains and remove gunbroker.com if it appears there.
Gmail
Gmail does not use a traditional Safe Senders list like Outlook. You can create a filter to tell Gmail not to send messages from the GunBroker domain to Spam.
- Sign in to Gmail.
- Select the Show search options icon in the Gmail search bar.
In the From field, enter:
@gunbroker.com
- Select Create filter.
- Select Never send it to Spam.
- Select Create filter again to save the filter.
If a GunBroker email is already in your Spam folder, select the message and choose Report not spam.
Yahoo Mail
You can create a filter in Yahoo Mail to help direct messages from the GunBroker domain to your Inbox.
- Sign in to Yahoo Mail.
- Select Settings.
- Select More Settings.
- Select Filters.
- Select Add new filters.
- Enter a name for the filter, such as GunBroker.
Set the filter to identify messages where the sender contains:
@gunbroker.com
- Choose Inbox as the folder for matching messages.
- Select Save.
If a GunBroker email is already in your Spam folder, select the message and choose Not Spam.
AOL Mail
If a GunBroker email has been delivered to your Spam folder:
- Sign in to AOL Mail.
- Open the Spam folder.
- Locate and select the GunBroker email.
- Select Not Spam.
You should also review your AOL Mail spam and blocked-sender settings to make sure gunbroker.com is not blocked.
Still Not Receiving GunBroker Emails?
If you are still not receiving emails after adding gunbroker.com to your Safe Senders, Allow List, or filters:
- Check your Spam, Junk, and other filtered folders.
- Search your mailbox for gunbroker.com.
- Make sure gunbroker.com is not included in your blocked senders or domains.
- Check that your mailbox has not reached its storage limit.
- Review any email rules or filters that may automatically move, archive, or delete messages.
- Contact your email service provider or ISP and ask whether emails from the gunbroker.com domain are being filtered, blocked, or rejected.
- Ask your provider to add gunbroker.com to its Safe Senders or Allow List, if applicable.
If you use a work, business, school, or other organization-provided email account, your organization's email security settings may override your personal Safe Senders or filtering settings. In this situation, you may need to contact your email administrator and ask them to allow email from the gunbroker.com domain.
Email Delivery Cannot Be Guaranteed
GunBroker can verify when an email has been sent from our system, but we cannot control how an email is processed after it reaches an external email provider or server.
Spam filtering, security policies, server settings, and other factors outside of GunBroker's control may prevent an email from reaching your inbox. For this reason, adding gunbroker.com to your Safe Senders or Allow List is recommended, but it does not guarantee that every email will be delivered.
