You can update listings with additional pictures at any time after you create your listing, even if it has received bids.
How to add pictures, update a thumbnail, or reorder pictures:
- From the item's listing page, click Manage Pictures
- Select Click to Upload Pictures, or paste a URL to a publicly hosted image below
- You may drag and drop one or more photos from your computer to the Drag and Drop assets here box which appears, take a picture with your device using the Camera tab, or click Browse to search your device for a photo.
- Once uploaded, photos appear in the box below. You may use this area to pick your desired thumbnail, drag to reorder, or delete uploaded images as desired. Note that while there's no charge to update a thumbnail, you cannot change the thumbnail or remove photos once the item has received a bid.
- Click Save Item Pictures once complete.
Other Important Notes:
- Beginning April 2025, the user interface does not support cropping or rotating uploaded images (though this feature will return in a future update)
- GunBroker only supports JPG/JPEG and GIF formats smaller than 14MB.
- Note that Apple products have an image format (HEIC) that is not compatible with the GunBroker image uploader. These pictures will have the jpg extension, but the format is HEIC or HEIF. You can check the image format at https://www.checkfiletype.com/. Click Here for instructions on how to change your device settings from HEIC to JPG.
- GunBroker does not support creating thumbnails from URL links. You must upload at least one picture to our website using the Upload Picture function.
