I'm having a really bad day...

Idgy ... the finest dog that I have ever had, is 99.99% likely going to have to be put down. Probably tomorrow!
Sorry I just can't type anymore tonite!!!

    So sorry tobe. I just had to have my cat of 14 years put down yesterday. It's really tough. You just have to remember to do what is best for Idgy.

    bro,..sorry for that, man thats tough,..two yrs ago on christmas eve I had to put my ole girl Meg [mnt. feist] down she was 16..one of the toughest days ever..seems like the holidays only amplify our feelings..be strong...and thankful too those type dogs only come around once or twice in a lifetime...thoughts/prayers sent from here...best,..Loko

    Over the years I have put down so many "friends" that I got a tortoise. The reason?

    She will live 75 years, outliving me.

    I have put off responding to this thread...simply because of the pain of it all.
    Unique to itself, losing such a partner is unmatched by human loses....that dog looks to you for all things important in his world.

    I feel for ya. I had to put my dog down 2 years ago, after it bit the neighbor (dumb ass neighbors fault). The was the hardest thing I ever had to do.

    I find myself tearing up every time a thread like this is posted. It is hard loseing our family members and even everyone else's. So Sorry, but you are so lucky to have had those years together, that has to be worth the pain.
