I was told today....

This younger kid came in yesterday with two of is loser friends. Wanted to touch pretty much every gun we had.

He wanted to argue with me that the entire Military has switced to the M14 from the M16. He said the 223 is worthless and they needed something that could shoot through walls.

I just laughed and said, "That's news to me."

He said, Well I'm enlisting in the Marines and when I get my gun, I'll come show you."

He was one of those who laughed and smiled real big everytime he touched a rifle. Something was wrong up there. I think he's played too many video games.

    I forgot, he said the Berretta CX4 Storm Carbine looks like something a gay cop would carry.

    I've seen a few of the SF groups and Seals who had the m-14 on their inventory. Some even carried them. We were going to get one for our sniper qualified soldier, but instead they gave us a british .308 of sorts. That kid sounds like an idiot. I hope the Marines can do something good for him.
