History Channel took these punks to school last night.
I especially liked that when it is proven that some of there kooksterism is total BS, they simply go back and RE-EDIT the film.

Sneaky -
An "intimate vacation" on the desolate north shore of the Gulf of Finland about 35 miles west of St. Pete camped out in a surplus Russian army tent accompanied by a bunch of men who could have really used a bath but couldn't buy a bar of soap if their life depended on it. Oh... They and hordes of mosquitoes.
I was instructing the Russians on the use of a side-scan sonar. This on a decrepit old minesweeper under the ever watchful eye of a nice little DE that never seemed too far off whenever we crept away from shore.
Local fresh water was questionable, so we had beer. Low test in blue cans and high test in red if I remember correctly. It seems the beer was kept in the tent where it stayed nice and warm during those long July days. Brewed in Vyborg I believe.
Then the food... Ah, what memories! The best I can say is that it would sustain life. Canned meat from China. Maybe cat for all I know. Tea was good and the sugar better. Raw sugar from Cuba. Some of the other stuff I won't mention.
The Russians were all former military to a man. We got to be friends and I began to understand that we weren't all that different. They had families they wanted to get home to just as did I. They shared common interests with me. They laughed at their government. Not in a really derisive way, but much as I laugh at the utter stupidity of my own.
And we all agreed that the last thing any of us coveted was the other's country. As they all said... Had they been attacked, they would have defended their country. Had they been ordered to head for the North Sea, they would have waited until they were out of pistol range of their officers, looked up the nearest NATO soldier, and asked what was for lunch.
We laughed about Christmas. The Russians haven't forgotten, they merely adjusted to the communist version as a practical matter. Why fight city hall?
Yup! I've been there. I know what it's like to be a Russian and see tourist buses and view their hotel accommodations or tour ships from a distance. (And it's a distance that can't be crossed even if one is only inches away.) I know what it's like to try to purchase gasoline or groceries there. I know that all the money in the world won't buy soap if there is none. I know that there at least three flavors of police, all with different color uniforms and none too friendly. And I know where to find some decent hard-working men that I'm proud to have called friends.
