What, in the infinite wisdom of the GB General Discussion Forum Collective, are the advantages and disadvantages of wheelguns over autoloaders?

Well...
1. Revolvers have less that can go wrong.
2. With most, you have to make sure they are loaded, whereas with autoloaders, you have to make sure you have a loaded magazine, make sure you rack the slide, and make sure you take off the safety.
3. Revolvers don't jam. Autoloaders do. And, often for reasons that are not apparent.
4. Click BANG click BANG click BANG click BANG click BANG click click click click goes a revolver. Click BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG click click click goes an autoloader.
5. You can't carve grooves into the webbing between your thumb and forefinger with a revolver no matter how hard you try. But, hold an autoloader a bit off, and watch the Insta-Tattoo.
6. You can always see how many rounds you have left with a revolver. You have to keep count with an autoloader.
7. Autoloaders are evil. Revolvers are evil, too, but not as evil. So, a revolver is the lesser of two evils.0 -
