New Man Hut EDIT: It Is Here!
My newest addition will be delivered today![:D]
I purchased a new 10x16 lofted storage barn last week and they are delivering it today.
The loft will be used for household storage, one side will be my tools and yard equipment, and the otherside will be my work benches (includeing a gunwork bench and a reloading bench).
I do believe my days of sitting in the house in front of this computer will be down considerablly![:D]
I will have my new man hut!!!!!!!![:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]
I still need to get it finished out, but that is work that I'll be doing![:D]

Only concern....
Will it be air-conditioned? I'd be hesitant to store reloading equipment in a room that is not. One, for being very warm, and two, because of the humidity.0 -

I will be insulating it and will also put a window ac unit in it before next summer.

It's kinda like it but mine has a loft in it so I have much more storage space up there.0 -

I will solve that when the time comes.
More than likely it will end up being a 10x10 lofted barn dedicated solely for my gun work and reloading if it comes to that.0 -

Don't put a thermometer in there on a summer day...it will scare you to death..I added roof vents to the front one it helped a lot..my wife got a 12x24.w/a window in the back...and it still ain't big enough..[V]..mine is in the back..its 14x20..w/front and dual side doors for some yard equipment and 4 wheeler..and other stuff..after staining them the second time they have remained in this condition..they will soak up the stain though the first couple times...they are handy..you will enjoy it...Loko [:D] sturdi-built..2250.00 [wifes] and 2400.00 [mine]

Mine was $2000, and built by a Mennonite fella and his oldest boys. He also makes cabins for alot of the state parks. They are nice but I think they run around 10 grand.

The pool is long gone so now it will get me into the loft untill I make my ladders that stow-a-way up out of site for the lofts.0 -

You can't see it from the pictures but it does have a roof vent on the top to let heat out.[;)]0 -

I know ways to make it better, but those little osb coller ties will do the trick.

the roof shape itself sheds snow effectivly, so not much weight will be presant.
If you dont get snow, dont worrie, if you get light snow dont worrie, if you get lots and lots, youll need a little more streanth, but not much.
If you live in a tornado area, well thats out of my league![8D]0 -

if that little shed over the truck in the pictuer never folds, then you have nothing to worrie about.
I see those all the time here just folded pices of crap, sometimes in only one night. figure those people must have just moved here. your shed would be solid where I live..[8D]0 -

When I said flimsy, I didnt mean that yours was.
Most aren't flimsey, most are solid. but where I live, I see people put those up all the time, and the snowload crushes em like a pop can the second or third snow. very solid units for the right location. You can tell someone new to the aria cause they try it, never works for long. here we have a very intense snowload.
My point is if your car cover is good; you have zero to worry about with your shed.
Infact I have a similar shed that is just fine here with our snow[8D]

Nice Kevin[8D]...you probably should think seriously about climatizing the shed year round if you are going to put reloading stuff in it. 0
