Memorial Day weekend plans?
I will be working on something work related off and on, not because they need me to or have asked me to, but because I don't have anything else going on.

Today work, Saturday work, Sunday work half a day, Monday work for double pay... then I get off tuesday and wednesday, go figure. 0 -
My son graduates high school saturday!! I'll over serve myself and some family and friends at a pig roast to celebrate the graduation on Sunday!! 0 -
Saturday: going to a gunshow.

Activists plan memorial in South Beach

As the tourist crowds descend upon South Beach for Memorial Day weekend festivities, a group of grass-roots activists hope they also stop and reflect on the ongoing war in Iraq.
Democracy for America Miami is holding a special memorial Friday through Monday to honor the fallen troops of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Set up in Lummus Park between 10th and Seventh Streets, the memorial will consist of 3,000 monuments.
It will conclude with the reading of the names of the Florida troops who have been killed in Iraq, which is about 130.
This will be the seventh time in the past two years that DFAM has held this event in Miami.0 -
Im driving to Selinsgrove PA to meet up with Mr and Mrs NJRetcop and Craig and Deana. Gotta drive into Bloomsburg and pick up a rifle I won on a raffle. Then were gonna spend the rest of the day at Craigs house shooting!!! Cookout later in the evening, spending the night then back home for Graduation Parties and a cookout Monday!!! 0 -
We got a busy weekend.. Sat. Shooting a Wild bunch match with the local cowboys. Get to shoot the steel with the 1911... Stoke up the 97 full for a change. Should be a bunch of fun. Sunday Church, and a couple of picnics. Monday, Local parade, Hanging out with the wife's sisters family.
On top of all that I'm on call all weekend.

I ended up with a remote broadcast at a downtown bar tonight.
Pity me.
I have to spend three hours getting paid to hang out in an upscale pub, eating free food, and, if history is any judge, getting hit on by chicks who are drunk enough to forget that I'm married.
I need to get a real job someday.
I just don't know how much more of this I can take.0 -
