Memorial Day weekend plans?
I will be working on something work related off and on, not because they need me to or have asked me to, but because I don't have anything else going on.

Mrs. K will be spending the weekend at her brother's home and will be taking our youngest daughter along so that she can ride horses and visit with her cousins. My oldest girl will be staying at Stanford studying for final exams and preparing to graduate next month. Yours truely will be relaxing around the house, watching the Monaco Grand Prix and Indy 500, eating out and doing a LOT of drinking...Perhaps not in that order [}:)]. 0 -

Fishing, canoeing, then on Mon. at 10, the Memorial service at Marrowbone Township Cemetary. We put the flags on the Veterans graves tonight, about 350 of them. 0 -

My friend is trying to Qualify for the Biggest amature nationals in the country on Saturday and Sunday and then I will relax unwind at a private track on my New RMZ450 on Monday.0 -
Handing out poppies, and taking donations at a interstate rest area for my VFW post, and going to the cemetery on Monday for the services. Gotta remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

I got a BBQ to go to for my daughters softball team tonight.
Was thinking of takeing the kids camping for one night and to the shooting range that is near the campground. But that is still up in the air.

These weekends are job security, man.
I just pray you get 'em before they wreck somebody else's life.
Growing up, I remember vividly my father working every holiday, sometimes coming home depressed because of the completely avoidable stupidity he had to cover.

Off today. Working a double tomorrow (1.5x pay for 16 hours), a single on Sunday, and a single on Monday (double time on Monday).
Why? Have a trip to Montana in July for a wedding, have to pay for gas and fun somehow.0 -

Going to St Simons Island, Georgia.
The plan: Eat lots of seafood, drink gin and tonic on the pier at night.

I'm going to get up early and ride my enduro dirtbike for a couple of hours, go to the in- laws and cook out around noon. Go visit the cemetery, remember my family members that have passed on. Go home, take a nap. Wake up around 5:30 pm. Go across the street and cook out again with my parents. Go back home and sleep some more. Almost sounds like a perfect day.[:D] 0
