When you try it - make sure to turn up the voltage all the way up and film it, then post it on youtube.

I have with a 250,000 volt tazzer. I wasn't too bad. I was hit behind my right leg, just above my knee. It surprized me more than anything. And yes I did get the co-worker back by bringing in my friends 650,000 volt, and getting him it the lower back...he fell to the ground[:D]

I suppose it would depend upon whether or not the power could be adjusted. Many are capable of killing folks that may have heart ailments. Also the embarrassing possibility of losing control of ones bodily functions would not be a good thing at a party.[;)]

I've been hit with the M26 Tazer (50,000 volts)

Hurts like hell. Would have put me flat on my ass if I hadn't been held up by a buddy.

That being said, I'd rather be tazered than be pepper sprayed again. When the "juice" is cut off on the Tazer, everything is fine....Pepper sticks around for awhile, no matter what you do to get it off.

By the way, the media reporting on Tazering incidents is WAAAAAY over the top....but making it out to be much worse than it is makes for better ratings

changed a voltage unit on a tv set w/o depleting the charge once.
    does 50,000 volts count?[:0]

so let me get this straight....there are people who tazzer ecah other for fun at parties?
that goes to prove, there are some in this world who dont deserve guns or the privilage of owning one.

NEVER AIM A GUN AT ANY LIVING THING, UNLESS YOU INTEND ON SHOOTING (killing) IT. [8]

HUMANS ARENT ON THAT LIST. (defense/training and war excluded.)

I haven't. My brother, however, when his department was training with the things, volunteered to be hit with one. He was sure he'd show the trainers how ineffective they were. He isn't ashamed to admit that he hit the ground, NOW -- and that he would have been wise to have visited the restroom before the exercise. Apparently, you wet yourself in a situation like this, your brother officers never let you forget it....

Forgot to mention, my brother's got three inches and about sixty pounds of muscle on me -- so I'm not going to make any noise about being able to take it better than he did.

BarkingDog, next time you guys have a party, suggest some fun with a stapler and paintball markers too. Don't forget once again to film it, could be a start to a new jackass type show [;)]

US Naval Guided Missiles School, Dam Neck, Virginia.

It was November 1979. Disco ruled. My first winter stateside.

My friend Tim Gonzalez, a Texican, approached me as he dragged his feet across the carpet while at the barracks.

Raised his finger to my earlobe, and ... yowzers!!!

West Indian surfer dude gets well acquainted with static electricity.

I tazzered myself on my forearm and it was a shocking experience. I wanted to see how it felt. It wasn't to bad, of course I didn't stay on the trigger as soon as I jolted myself I let go of the trigger. It was a stun gun.

    It's TASER.

    TASER! TASER! TASER!

(It's all caps 'cause it's an acronym: Thomas A. Swift's Electric Rifle.)

It seems every time these are mentioned, at least half the folks get the device itself wrong. The units that you have to press agin sumbody and shock them directly are simple stun guns, not TASERs.

I had somebody give me one of those many moons ago, and told him to hold it on me until I said uncle or passed out one. I thought it was funny years later when I read a gunwriter had the exact same reaction as I did: Instead of collapsing in a heap like they do in TV and movies, I said ouch and reflexively slapped it away, and I was pumped up and ready to fight.

TASERs come in two different versions. The old ones work on pain compliance, just like the old stun guns. The newer ones, starting with the 26 series, don't cause you to make a decision to comply, they directly affect your nervous system; there's nothing you can do about it.

Never been tasered, never want to. I've been hit a few times with a MSD 6 ignition hooked to a Blaster coil. Went from my right forarm grounded through my left elbow. If that doesn't get your attention your already dead.Dave

I took a hit a couple of years ago.
I was doing a remote broadcast from the new Justice Center and told the listeners that if I raised enough money for Relay For Life, I'd get TASER-ed. I don't remember how much it was, but I know it was raised in minutes. It was a most unpleasant experience.

Can't say that I have, but I've been hit with a cattle prod on more than one occasion [:0] (moving livestock). Also been tangled in a "weed chopper" electric fence [:0] (wire "gate", couldn't see the slack loop in the dark, but I sure saw my arm light up when it hooked behind my metal watch band [:0] )

The real TASER from the company that makes the police models will not sell to the public. Trust me you do not want to get hit with a police model. You will go down, immediatly, in a heap, and yes you will pee all over yourself.

Now can someone tell me just how many amps. that these things hit you with. surly they aren't using voltage. 250k would f-in melt your eyes out. 110 out of a wall socket will toss anyone on their butt. 250k volt seems like enough to kill you???????

When i was taking Electrical in trade school, we had these wires come out the wall with two large alligator clips ont he end, like a jumper cable type thing, when i was wrapping up the 110 cord after class, some one thought it would be funny to turn it on, didnt really hurt, made my arm feel wavy, if that makes sense to anyone. And ive also been shocked by a stun gun, was holding it upside down, clicked it on, the damn arc went up and hit my hand, didnt really hurt.

Is that all? I've been tagged by an AC/DC arc welder pushing 300amps hundred's of times it seems. I don't know how many amps it hit with? There where times I thought my heart had stopped.

It's less by many times, than the current in joules required to initiate atrial fibrillation.
Not to say that someone with a bizarre cardiac issue,......especially if cranked up at the time, couldn't be possibly induced into it.
Your stuff though,........better watch your azz, you can throw the heart into several disturbing rhythms with that, just as what I posted.
Couple of times, I have set, and taken my pulse, to be sure, after my teeth stopped smoking![:D][8D]
