I can't top any of these, although I could tell a few tales that come close. After reading all this, however, I have decided to sell all power tools, sharp objects, and gasoline-powered contrivances on my property. Will never leave the home, and have given up driving. Couldn't bring myself to sell the guns, though.

I was slicing a sheet of ply with a skill saw, to fit in the bed of a little atv trailer i had fabricated. I was slicing it on top of the trailer and as i pushed the saw through the ply the trailer started to roll away. i let go of the ply with my left hand and stepped over the tounge of the trailer to keep it in place all along i had my finger on the trigger of the saw and when i went to grab the play again i mistakenly wrapped my left hand right around the blade of the saw.

8hrs in the ER. 2 days later 6 hrs in surgury, 24 stiches followed by 4 wks rehab.

OK, that is a pretty good "dumb injury."
Now, tell us about the time, prior to this mishap, when you removed the blade guard from the Skilsaw.
