Does the Second Amendment confer power on the Federal Government to regulate, restrict, force NICS checks on, or pass laws of ANY sort upon guns or gun owners ?
(Note that the above would NOT prevent laws concerning wilfull abuse of or damage caused by stupidity of a gun owner....)

I am of the opinion that the Bill of Rights does not grant ANY of the rights listed. It merely recognizes the pre-existance of those rights and points out that the government may not take them away. 0 -

Problem is the liberals believe that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights is a living document and is subject to change as they manage to change society. It blocks their agenda and its a bit of a challenge to them to make the changes that they have been doing since cowboys were forced to hang up their guns to come into town!!
