O'reilly said the other night that he is pro gun control. I just sent him an e mail asking him to elaborate on his gun control veiws. I like the guy, but less as the years go by. I'll see what his response is then decide wether or not I'm done watching him. This is the first comment I have heard him make regaurding the subject. Enyone know what he has said about this in the past?

He's another hippocratic charlatan ala Limbaugh. Spouting righteous conservatism while he pounds his puppet on the phone with babes, and sexually harasses them in person. Limbaugh did the same while he fed his drug habit. They're flim flam men, and the public laps it up while they laugh all the way to the bank. If you want the real thing, pay attention to Patrick Buchanan.

I used to watch Bill and have never heard him talk about gun control. I watch a lot of Glenn Beck now though.

I think O'Reilly only responds to paying-members. He has never responded to my e-mails either.

I like him myself, everyone of the tv crowds are a bit strange.
But I have to back the man, when kids are involved, he goes to the mat.

You must not have heard the DISGUSTING and DESPICABLE things Bill O'Reilly said about Shawn Hornbeck, the boy who was kidnapped at age 11 by Micahel Devlin and kept him for four years and repeatedly molested him.

Some people speculated that Shawn never ran away from his abductor or tried to contact police during those four years because he suffered from Stockholm Syndrome...but not good old Bill O'Reilly. Bill said that he didn't believe in Stockholm Syndrome (apparently O'Reilly has a self-appointed PhD in Psychology now) and that Shawn Hornbeck stayed because he ENJOYED his new living environment. Here's O'Reilly's actual words:

"The situation here, for this kid, looks to me to be a lot more fun than what he had under his old parents. He didn't have to go to school, he could run around and do whatever he wanted.there was an element here that this kid liked about this circumstance."

Bill O'Reilly also claimed that Shawn was "maladjusted" even before being kidnapped (keep in mind that O'Reilly hasn't even so much as SPOKEN to this child or met him in person, and yet he feels he is qualified to judge this boy's personality at age 11). His reasoning for why he feels this way? It's because Shawn has "piercings." That's right folks, if you have piercings, than you are AUTOMATICALLY "maladjusted" in the eyes of Bill O'Reilly.

BTW, Bill O'Reilly was scheduled to be the keynote speaker at a large expensive fundraising dinner for the Center of Missing and Exploited Children. They were so disgusted by his comments on Shawn Hornbeck, suggesting that Hornbeck ENJOYED living with his rapist, that they dropped O'Reilly from the dinner. Not what I would call a stunning endorsement for a man that you claim "goes to the mat" for kids.

I looked for Bill O'reilly in the Martin-Hubble law directory and his name is not included. I thought he might be an attorney because he uses a lot of leading questions: You were speeding isn't that correct?" Is his intemperance with guests real or an act?

His questions/statements hard to read, they are Jaundiced, deceptive narrow, coming from both directions at the same time.

Bill O'reilly did nothing more than speculate, aloud, what millions of other Americans thought about the Hornbeck boy. To Bill and those who thought like him, it was beyond their comprehension that the Hornbeck boy stayed with his abductor, instead of trying to escape from him and return home. This is the same type attitude that millions of Americans held toward Patty Hearst when she was kidnapped, and later running with the SLA rather than away from them to return to her famnily.

Bill O'Reilly speculated, aloud, that an 11-year old boy enjoyed living with his rapist. That is f**king disgusting. And apparently the Center for Missing and Exploited Children feel the same way, since they no longer wish to associate with him. I'm sure there are people out there who thought that, how many of them ran their big mouths about it on a national TV show? How would YOU feel if your child was kidnapped and raped and Bill O'Reilly suggested that your kid was enjoying it?

Bill O'Reilly should not speculate about a f**king CHILD RAPE VICTIM, that's horrible and it's slander, he should have some respect for someone who was kidnapped at AGE 11 and likely brainwashed by a sicko manipulator. I think Shawn Hornbeck's father would be well within his fatherly rights to beat O'Reilly into a coma.

First O'Reilly slandered our WWII vets by saying that THEY murdered German POWs at Malmedy (twice he said this) and then he goes and says that a rape victim enjoyed living with his rapist, and not once has he apologized. If I ever run into Bill O'Reilly on the street, he's going to the Emergency Room. I'll gladly take the misdemeanor battery charge, it would be worth it to shut up that cretin for one day.

you are misinformed, you are listening to what "others" are saying O'reilly said... if it went down like you have put it, then you would be right to be outraged. BUT it didn't, I listen to him everyday. I heard what he said and then I heard what the media said he said... weren't the same. do some research before you get all wound up.

one more thing... it was Rosie that first mentioned the piercings and said that was why Bill didn't like the kid, not Bill. but now it's "fact" that he said it. Don't ya love the liberal media

O'Reily has stated many times that he is in favor of registration, and restriction of certain fireamrs. He's an elitist, what can you expect. None of the elites in society are in favor of rights for the common man.

If God came down to earth he might say I am sorry you can't pick your own family, that's Lord God's way of saying you gotta get along, however I draw the line when family members all but say I no it's so, because Bill O'reilly told me so.

Bill O'reilly has made it clear many times that he is FOR gun control and against anything he deems assault rifles. He did a show some time ago and didn't know what he was talking about but used his power to evilize with word assault weapons and push his gun hating agenda onto the sheeple.

The weapons his show were showing were not even assault rifles. Think he got his research done by the Brady's.

I wish someone would bloviate his rear.

    OPINION FOLLOWS:

I didn't buy the "brainwashing" excuse for being a traitor after the Korean War, and I don't buy the "Stockholm Syndrome" now.

I support and believe in the values of our Constitution and Bill of Rights.

I listen to O'Rielly from time to time, and mostly disagree with him - after all, he is paid to be an "entertainer".

I don't believe that the Citizen's right to own, and access to, any kind of firearm or weapon of war should be impeded.

I believe that everyone should be strapped, all the time.

In a short time, we wouldn't have to worry about criminals carrying guns.

There are too many people, anyway.

    D.
