I don't ever put up a Christmas tree. I live alone so I guess theres no real reason to. Besides if my cat sees a Christmas tree he will catch on and want me to buy him something. [:o)]

Not putting one up this year. Too much work without Sandy's help, and I'm just not in the spirit.[V]

I'm kind of glad I am not "into" Thanksgiving as much. I really like the food.... but my extended family has some nut jobs that I only see on THAT holiday. Christmas is fun when you have three kids!

Not till the week after Thanksgiving....I try to focus on each holiday as it comes along and focus on the meaning of each.

A little OT, but 4 years ago we paid $75 for a crappy tree, 3 years ago $90 for a worse one, 2 years ago bought a fake one and will never buy a real tree again.

I LOVE going by the tree stands late in the year and see that they still have LOTS of trees left. I hope those f'ers go out of business.

We just finished putting up the Halloween decorations. I am trying to work up to Christmas. My wife is a Christmas junkie. We have so much Christmas stuff that it takes at least a week to drag it all out and set it up. We do leave it up till mid-January.

I have a whole woods full of pine trees. This year I think they will stay outside the home.

No tree yet, but I did take my Santa suit to the cleaners, and have got new boots, suspenders, and toy bag coming. I have a hair appontment on the 26th of Nov. to get my hair,(what's little's left), and beard trimmed and permed. And another on the 3rd of Dec. to get bleached white. How's that for the spirit of Christmas?

    Same here.

I used to cut our own, but those were soooo messy, we go artificial nowdays.

    You gotta be kiddng!

I thought it was sort of a rule, like not wearing white after Labor Day or before Easter. We never put up a tree until Thanksgiving weekend, and it comes down as soon after January 1 as practicable.

Not until after Thanksgiving. We like to go out and cut a fresh tree. The fields are full of them in the NW. Oregon is one of the largest producers of trees and they are being loaded up on trucks daily and are being shipped to states that are unable to grow their own.

...except mine's called Holiday Tree -- it's from CA, they don't have Christmas there anymore.

No tree here yet usually the weekend after Thanksgiving (if I don't have to work). And it stays up till after the New Year. I think the time a tree stays up varies alot by geographical location. Most folks around here do about the same way.
We use a artifical tree due to animals and less mess.

I won't put up my tree til almost a week til Christmas, but then I keep it up til Russian Christmas.
I'm not Russian, but it's always been the tradition with my family.
Personally, I prefer Thanksgiving to Christmas. All the good holiday stuff (food, family) with none of the pressure or expense.
