    buschmaster,
I got goose bumps reading your post. Don't know why, guess I'm sentimental and was thinking about my past history. I turned 46 on Memorial Day, I feel life and time are moving way too fast.

Thanks for posting and sharing with us.

BTW, now you can admit it: You did lock the janitor on the roof, didn't ya?[;)]

I can think of a couple of places right at 48th and Harrison where there were horses. Did you happen to have horses at Eddie and Dodie's place? They were a couple blocks off of there, but I know they boarded horses.

Yes, Ed and Dodie's place. Had them there for years. Ed and Dodie have both passed away. Both were good friends and we went to a ton of horse sales together. Bought many horses with them, hauled tons of hay with them. Sad to see them gone. I did pass by the place the other day and seen there is a horse or two there again![:)]

quote:Great essay! I even showed it to my girlfriend and she loved it too! I hope you don't mind if I copy the idea when I get a digital and learn how to use it and post up!go right ahead! it's the internet!quote:PS I'm a big fan of McCook, Nebraska.great! I do "where I'm from in 50 pictures", McCook would be more like a "caption this" [:)]quote:This really is a great summation of your life in photo's. I know all the areas because I grew up in the same general locations. Early years around 30 & Woolworth, then Papillion and for awhile around 144th and center. Not there anymore either but it was good to see the pictures as it not only gave great info on your life but brought back many memories for me. Thanks. Davethat 2nd house is on 32 & center, mebbe 4 blocks away.quote:BTW, now you can admit it: You did lock the janitor on the roof, didn't ya?nooooo no I didn't!
