my new gun...UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i know it ain't the best, but it's my first ever. just paid it off, and i should receive it this week.
THIS JUST IN.....A PA-63!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
I got it today 2/27 and shot it. and shot it. and shot it.
it does have a bit of a recoil, my first shot was kinda low (ring 4) but shot 2 was in the eye baby. i'll post pics tomorrow.

I was 12. The 1st 3 were my dads the later was a gift from my grandpa. The later also came with a most excellent Beagle pup.
My mom wanted to sell the 1st 3 guns but I locked them in my bed room closet and said "let the guy that wants come and get them then. No one ever showed up. 44 yrs later these puppies are still in the pocession my of brother and I and my mom is still Po'd that I meant every word of it....0 -

Oh yea my 1st gun that I bought for myself was a Remington 510 for 12 bucks that had a busted stock that I replaced in shop class. I bought it at a public auction and I had permissiom from the teacher to have it in my shop locker while I built the Stock... Gun sold to a kid in front of over a hundred unconcerns wittnesses and a kid having a gun at scool with the schools blessing....My how times have changed....I built a stock for a H&A 12 ga the following year....the gun however was not mine..... 0 -

I finally got to fish the Williams and the Cranberry rivers last year. Had a blast. Caught quite a few browns and rainbows and even landed a nice brook. Shot my new PA-63 today. It's not bad for accuracy at 15yds. I believe I shoot my P64 a little better though. One thing I will do is replace the hammer spring with a 13lb hammer spring from Wolfe to make the double action trigger pull a little lighter. One thing I really like about it is that the recoils isn't as noticeable as it is with my P64. You'll like it. Happy shooting!![:)][:)] 0 -

spider....wow that was fun. it kicks a little more than the ppk, but i really like the action. my range only carries the new winchester 9x18 rounds. 92 gr. a little $$$ at $17 a box, but i liked the placement. mine came with 2 7rd clips, holster, and trigger lock. i need to find a cleaning kit and other accessories for it. but i like it. my fiance likes it, but the slide is too stiff for her to pull back. i might change the recoil spring to lessen the recoil a bit, it felt like trying to catch a fastball without a glove after about 30 rounds. i like the ease of stripping too, but i suck at hanging from the pole (stripper joke there [:D]). 0 -

spider...next time you plan to hit the cherr or williams let me know. that my home stompin grounds. about the pa-63...considering changing the recoil springs to soften the recoil. i hear the wolff springs work wonders...any ideas on that? 0 -

No problem on the fishing trip. Probably head there the last week of March. As far as springs, I plan on changing the hammer spring to 13lb or 11lb to lighten the double action trigger pull. As of right now, I have no intention of changing the recoil spring in mine. Wolfe does offer a 13lb and 15lb recoil spring. Personally, if I were going to change mine, it would be to the 13lb. spider...cool. they'll have just stocked about that time. i used to fish from one of the state brood ponds that feed the williams. [:D] a 20 in 7lb+ is always a good haul...even if the pond was owned by a judge[:D]
i was thinking the 13lb. i don't see a need to change the hammer spring yet. i like the pull as it is right now. finance has a tough time pulling the slide back though.
next purchase for it though will be a good cleaner and a case. my range said the holster isn't acceptable for their indoor range. that's ok though. i plan to use it for carry and would prefer a shoulder anyway.0
