Favorite Import Beer

Anyone have an absolute favorite or enjoy do you enjoy somthing different every once in a while. Have to say I do not have a favorite. Sometimes i just buy six of somthing i have never had just for a change.

    I have thought a lot about homebrewing, but I have no clue where to start or how much I have to invest in supplies.

    My wife got me this set for my birthday in March. My first brew was excellent. There are many other places around the US to pick up more supplies, sanitizers, etc.

    This company has many different beers alone, when you really get good, you can modify some, or come up with your own recipes/flavors.

    It's a brewer's fantasy. Barrels of different hops, malts, grains, kits, etc, in a warehouse. You can buy a ton of different ingredients and customize your brew.

    My next house will have an extra space in my garage for a brew haus. TV, Stereo, couch, recliner, microbrewery, which this place sells. They have a kegging kit for brewing and filling a keg which then runs in a kegerator.

    This place even has equipment for "Water" distillation

    Hello All,
    I like "San Miguel", brewed in the Republic of the Philippines

    Not sure if it's the taste. Or maybe its just the fond memories of many port visits there. All of you fellow vets that have been to "Subic Bay" will know what I mean [;)

    I would have to say it had to have been the fond memories of the port visits, because I have had San Miguel. I had it on TDY to Moron, Spain years ago and it wasn't the best beer I have tasted. Might have been the drinking partner you had at the time.[;)]

    [:(] oh well i comfort myself that the original recipe came from ireland. however i dont know what kind of guinness everyone else is drinking, but the one i am sipping right now was imported from dublin ireland, through conneticut. I am a member in good standing of the 1759 club.
    while we are on the subject of beer, i have a bottle on display. a friend of mine give it to me, and i couldnt bring myself to drink it. it is called chili beer. it has a jalapeno in it. so it is on display as a novelty.

    Dinkel Acker. However, the most important thing is getting it in a mini-keg. The kegs have no formalin (preservative) in them like imported bottled beer, and the kegs are supposed to be shipped refrigerated. Haven't you always noticed more taste from keg beer? Well, that's the reason. Joe
