Favorite Import Beer

Anyone have an absolute favorite or enjoy do you enjoy somthing different every once in a while. Have to say I do not have a favorite. Sometimes i just buy six of somthing i have never had just for a change.

    as girly as it may be, I enjoy a Corona a bit of lime. I do enjoy Sapporo or Lowenbrau from time to time. However, I support my country by buying up it's cheap beer. Here's to the High Life.

    I do the same thing, the stuff I don't care for sits in the fridge till visitors drink it up.

    Ok, so it is technically import. I like it though, probably the best dark beer.

    just did a beer tasting at my brother's house with my dad and 7 other guys. We had gotten 34 different imports we had never heard of and rated them from "friggin bad" to "excellent". There were only two that made it into the excellent category and they were both the same company. Samuel Smith's Porter and Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout. And 'til that point, I didn't even like darker beers. They are made in England. Very good beers. This past weekend I tried another of their beers which was a Nut Brown Ale...very good too.

    HOEGARDEN... Its a white Belgium beer... Similar to Sam Adam's "seasonal" White Ale and Blue Moon brand.

    beer, hmm let me see i dont drink a LOT of beer but my favorites are

    Irish= Killians, and guinness
    Mexican= Sol, and Dos Equis (XX)
    german= Warsteiner dark or light

    i really like the real Labbats that is purchased in canada, I am not a fan of the watered down stuff they import to the US. I also really enjoy becks beer, especial their new light version.

    I like Labatt Blue and prefer it on draft in Canada. I have some FOND memories from Niagra Falls. I got so trashed that I bumped my forehead on a STOP sign.

    I usually have a keg of "blue" on tap at home!!

    I like the Hienekken that comes in that Personal Size Keg (5 Liters) not for flavor but the novelty sakes. It has a tap and a spigott (which is more like a straw) one can sit next to it and just hit the tap and mouth the straw and you're good[:D]. I know I am after a while. Now if they only made personal 5lt. kegs of malt liquor or Pabst Blue Ribbon[:p].

    Definitely try the Samuel Smith's beers I was talking about...you will not be dissappointed!
