Mike Vick Poll...

It's obvious that Vick is going to do some time for his crime's, and I personally think that he should receive the maximum sentence. But upon finishing his sentence, should he be allowed to play in the NFL ever again? My vote, hell no. Whatta yall say.

    All the speculation should be a moot point now. He violated the terms of his contract. It specifically says he will not engage in conduct that would be detrimental to the team or the league. He did this on multiple accounts, besides being the face of the team and walking off his home field after a game and flipping the crowd off for jeering at him. The penalty for such acts can be up to indefinate suspension.

    Even the most desperate teams in the league probably aren't desperate enough to pursue him after this. It'd cause a huge uproar with the fans and local media. No team wants or needs to deal with that. The game will go on without him now. Hopefully he saved some of that money or you might be able to meet him bagging groceries some day. He may be broke after the legal fees anyway.

    It's a tough break but you gotta be smarter than that. You can do a lot with 130 million other than dog fighting. [:o)]

    Its not dog fighting that is the problem with the NFL, Its Gambling.
    If your in the NFL and if you are known to be gambling on any level, You are OUT!

    My sentence were I the Judge. Minimum 6 Months jailtime.. 3 Months suspended. Pay all court cost. Do 1 year community service at 20 hours a week. Banned from Football lifetime.

    As a proud dog owner for 32 of my 39 years, I'll volunteer to dish out the punishment.

    I could start by shooting out his kneecaps... then perhaps shooting off his thumbs. I might encourage some of the dogs on his property to chew on his crotch, possibly even encouraging them to remove it. Then, as a break (because everyone needs a break), I could force-feed him wet dogschit, possibly having him eat only five or six pounds worth. Then I'd hang him by his pinky toes and invite a bunch of people over, hand them a baseball bat, and invite them to use his head as a pinata and keep hitting until something falls out.

    But, that's probably considered cruel and unusual punishment. So, I'd probably not get the job.

    I really don't think he should. If this happened to someone like a doctor or someone with a really high degree, chances are they would get their license revoked.

    In the US military a felony conviction means that you cannot be trusted, and you are out!! While Vick holds no position of any real importance, he should be out of professional sports. The reason is that there are a bunch of knuckle-headed kids out there who are stupid enough to actually "look up" to ball players.[V][V][V][V]

    he should be done as far as his career goes, i would hope anyway, he has or will get his just deserved.


    maybe when they start paying these athelets what they are really worth NOTHING and start paying the real ROLE MODELS. ie the TROOPS. maybe then we will not have these idiots speeding around in their 200,000 car's only to be kilt by a train.
