Glock or XD

I'm looking at getting either a Glock or XD. More specifically the Glock 26 or the XD9. Looking for some ups and downs that will lean me in the best direction...thanks

  In 9mm--get the G26. I prefer the lower bore axis (the XD feels too top-heavy), the grip, cheaper mags, more abundant holster choices for carry...
  
  I currently own a G26, and used to own a XD40. I much prefer the Glock. I don't however, think there's anything wrong with the XD--it's a fine piece. I just tend toward Glocks.

  i have a Glock 23 and a XD in .45 in the vault. the handgun i carry is the Glock why mess with Glock perfection

  Yuor hand is different than my hand, so what fits me will not fit you. It's like buying shoes, I cannot buy you a pair of shoes because they will not fit you right. You have to try them on your self to get the proper fit. Fit is everything when it comes to handguns, so like I have always said "the gun that fits you best is the best fit for you".
  Personally, I woudn't choose eather because they do not fit my hand, I would go with a CZ-75 or clone there of, but that is what fits me.
