Do you feel that your CCW has adequate firepower?
I carried my PPKS for a long time (still do from time to time); but, just kept feeling that the 380 was just not powerful enough. I'm well aware that with good placement practically any caliber will "put you down". I've started carrying my S&W model 60 (357) or my S&W model 36.
I probably would carry my 40cal or my 9mm if their weight was not an issue.
With crime the way it is, do you feel your CCW has adequate firepower?

XD45, definitely adequate...practice with it all the time, so I've got faith in myself too. 0 -
I believe my firearm has adequate knockdown power.
I also carry a M68 grenade just in case it doesn't.0 -
With my P3AT, I carry it ALL of the time. When I had larger guns for my CCW, I cannot honestly say I would have it with me all of the time. Either too bulky or too heavy, I'd leave it at home. To me, it is better to have a weapon you KNOW you will carry ALL of the time. 0 -
I don't feel comfy without my .45 so that is what I always carry. I got rid of everything smaller. 0 -
I carry whatever I know I can hit the target with. Somedays that's a Glock, somedays a 1911, sometimes even a puny walther PP in .32acp. More often than not I carry a SW 386PD airlite .357mag. As I said it depends on where I'm going, my perception of likely threat, and most importantly what I am wearing. 0 -
If 13 rounds from my Para P 12-45 won't do it, I'm in a heap of trouble!! 0 -
45 year round. No worries. [:D] 0 -
Always, and if I feel like I might need something better, I bring another gun. 0
