I just spent bout 15-20 minutes looking at the thread "Meet your neighborhood GB'er" and most of that time was spent looking at the same faces over and over and over again...
WHY does everyone have to hit Respond with quote?....even the flippin mods...do you realize how much space is wasted?...that thread could be down to 2 pages, if everyone would stop reposting the pics....Its not only on that thread its on others too....I have finally logged in all the time to get rid of exceptionally LONG signatures and excessive amount of pics in the sigs but you just cant stop the double/triple/quadruple and more posting of the pics..only the ones hitting respond with quote can stop it....

I enjoy toys (guns) in sig. lines. Nice to see what y'all got. I don't, however enjoy seeing non forum related items, or pure whimsy on the sig. lines. Joe
EDIT: If using dial-up vice dsl/hdsl then the graphics in an individual post really takes time in loading. And a 50-post string? The poor dialup person may turn grey before load-up is complete. Therefore, I agree with Black Roses in this. Joe0 -

but many members have 50+ gun collections and would be useless to do it in one or two photos, and singles are out of the question, i once just posted a list on another forum and was asked to take it down0 -

Go to your profile,..click NO in the box that says "View signature line in posts?" (bottom right hand side) hit submit and as long as you stay logged in you wont see any sig lines...so they can be as wide or as LONG (yea doug, I mean you) as they want and you wont see them...
And you wont get classic hollering at you cause you wont log out *LOL
